UV Protector
UV filters provide additional correction benefits for ultraviolet (UV) light, which can be recorded on film and video recordings as a blue hue and can obscure details at long distances.
If desired, they can remain on the lens at all times for protection.
Circular Polarizer
This filter eliminates ultraviolet rays to remove haze from outdoor shots, as well as polarizes light to eliminate reflections and enhance color intensity, without affecting the overall color balance.
It makes the blue sky bluer.
It enhances the clouds.
Neutral Density Filters
- To allow the use of slow shutter speeds, especially with high ISO speeds, for capturing motion in subjects such as waterfalls, clouds, or cars.
- To reduce depth of field by allowing the use of wider apertures, helping to separate subjects from their background.
- To reduce the effective ISO of fast film (above ISO 400) and to allow its use outdoors in bright conditions.
- To allow cine and video cameras (which have fixed shutter speeds) to capture subjects like snow, sand, or other bright scenes that could cause overexposure.
