Mobile Screen Protectors

Rugged Armor Honor 50/nova 9 Anti-fingerprint Matte Screen Protector (Deva Rugged Armor Honor 50/Nova 9)

The screen protector is a film, specially designed to protect the screen only from dust and superficial scratches. It does not protect the screen in case of a drop, as it is thin. It does not affect the screen's functionality. Its matte coating prevents fingerprints on its surface, as well as light reflection. In some cases, it may limit screen clarity. It is compatible with Deva Rugged Armor Honor 50/Nova 9. See full description

update: Finally, the matte coating came off easily, within a month, accidentally with my nail, leaving two annoying dark marks. So, it doesn't have good resistance to scratches. It responds well to pressure. Deep internal marks that seemed permanent disappeared the next day (self-healing, as they say). Maybe the non-anti-fingerprint version is more reliable if it doesn't have a film on top and is made of solid plastic, not laminated.

update 2: The laminate has an issue, it gets damaged on its own. It forms bubbles between the two layers, not due to poor installation, which appear black on a white background. Unacceptable. It's now a one-star product, despite the matte finish.

The weirdest screen protector I have tried. During installation, horizontal lines formed at every stroke of the spatula. They somewhat disappeared with a lot of pressing, but they are still visible, especially with a dimmed screen. It didn't stick well, especially on the curved sides, even though the screen was meticulously cleaned and spatulaed. It slightly detaches on the curved sides but comes back with pressure. The image quality is average, the final surface is satin to matte, which cuts (blurs) reflections but also destroys the image, especially when tilted. It doesn't seem resistant to nails or scratches at all, but that will be seen over time. It is completely anti-fingerprint as promised. Only facial oil sticks to it, but it cleans easily.

If you want your OLED screen to be completely matte, like TFT that doesn't shine anywhere, like paper, it's a good choice. As for how matte it is, it doesn't completely destroy the colors, but it definitely alters them quite a bit.

It also significantly affects touch. With a little more force, the finger sticks and skips on the screen.

A very peculiar purchase, but the paper-like feel has some interest. The S-pen works somewhat okay as well.

Perhaps it should have been half the price.
