    Very good construction, sturdy compass and very tight (meaning there are no gaps between its parts that could cause problems). It has 2 rulers (the bottom one shows the diameter of the circle in centimeters, the top one shows the radius of the circle) and the moving arm to open it has arrows that show exactly the diameter and radius of the circle it will draw. So far, I have only used it for drawing and not cutting. I don't know how well it can cut wood with a thickness of 3-5 millimeters, but I will find out soon. Definitely a very good purchase.
