Geo Bavicchi organic seeds are Triticum dicoccum seeds, also known as emmer or wild wheat, one of the oldest cereals still cultivated today. They can be sprouted in 2–3 days or grown for about 9 days as wheatgrass. The sprouts can be used in breakfast cereals, Essene bread, crackers and salads, while the wheatgrass can be juiced.
To sprout the seeds, soak them in water overnight, then keep them moist by spraying them 2–3 times a day. Once roots appear, they can be spread over moist soil to grow as wheatgrass. They contain 15% protein and vitamins A, B1, B5, B6, B12, C, E and K, as well as calcium, iron, magnesium, pantothenic acid and phosphorus.
