Berling pool paint is a single-component, solvent-based protective paint for concrete swimming pools, fountains and non-potable water tanks, for indoor and outdoor use. It resists water, moisture, mild acids and other chemical solutions, but not strong acids. Apply with a brush or roller; no mixing is required.
For new surfaces, apply one primer coat of the same paint, thinned by 12–15% with Thinner E, followed by two top coats thinned by 0–10%. For previously painted surfaces, apply two coats thinned by 0–10%. Surfaces must be clean and free of dust and salts. When repainting, remove any loose old paint. New cement must be allowed to dry for at least 27 days, cement-mortar filling for at least 7 days, and surfaces exposed to rain for at least 7 days. Check the moisture level before painting.
