Super white mortar, particularly fine-grained, which is mixed with pigments in liquid form or powder form to create stucco effects. The mixing is done only with water. It is applied to walls in both indoor and outdoor spaces as well as in bathrooms. The application thickness is 1 – 2mm per layer. It is mixed with NOVACOLOR DESIGN A/V pigments to achieve shades from the relevant color chart.

PLANOCOLOR VENETICO is suitable for:

• creating decorative coatings with a smooth texture
• applications on a variety of substrates such as: concrete, cement mortars, plasters, masonry mortars, cement boards, and plasterboards (with suitable primer)

Substrate preparation:

Cementitious substrates must be solid, free from cracks and free from dust, salts, grease, and any other materials that could reduce the adhesion of PLANOCOLOR VENETICO to them. Concrete substrates should be adequately prepared mechanically, e.g., by grinding, to achieve a uniform surface with open porosity without protruding points. For gypsum-based substrates, the use of NOVAPRIMER is essential. Non-absorbent substrates should be primed with SC ELASTIC.

Preparation of the mixture:

Mix the contents of one bag of PLANOCOLOR VENETICO (20 kg) with 7.0 – 8.0 liters of clean water using an electric mixer at low speed (500 rpm) for at least 3 - 5 minutes. Mixing should continue until the mixture is fully homogeneous. It is recommended to mix the pigment first with water. To achieve the shade from the PLANOCOLOR color chart, one pack of NOVACOLOR DESIGN A/V pigment is recommended for every 5 kg of PLANOCOLOR VENETICO. The product is ready for use. The mixture has about one hour of container life.

Application method:

It is applied with a trowel in one or more layers with a total thickness not exceeding 3 mm, with a maximum of 1mm per layer. The time between layers should be 2 – 3 hours depending on the temperature and humidity of the environment.
