Description

The miniature circuit breakers System pro M compact S200 limit the current. They feature two different activation mechanisms:

  • Delayed thermal trip mechanism for overload protection
  • Electromechanical trip mechanism for short circuit protection

They are available in various characteristics (B,C,D,K,Z), configurations (1P,1P+N,2P,3P,3P+N,4P), breaking capacity (up to 6 kA at 230/400 V AC), and rated currents (up to 63A). All MCBs in the S200 product series comply with standards IEC/EN 60898-1, IEC/EN 60947-2, UL1077 which allow for use in residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

The auxiliary contact at the bottom can be installed on the S200 for a 50% space saving.

Operating Curve

The tripping curve shows the time required for the circuit breaker to switch off in relation to the current passing through it. For small overcurrents, the tripping is delayed to avoid unnecessary interruptions, while for very high values, such as in the case of a short circuit, the breaker operates immediately to protect the circuit. Different types of curves are used depending on the needs of each installation and the type of loads.

The most common in general installations, ideal for circuits with motors or electronic devices.
