The Akusticell PRO 40/10 VIOL (egg carton) is a sound-absorbing flexible polyurethane foam sheet used for sound and thermal insulation and has high sound absorption performance in medium and high frequency ranges. The VIOL (egg carton) surface is formed with a special cutting machine, providing a corrugated surface configuration that gives it multiple active sound-absorbing surfaces.

The akusticell is produced through the impregnation process and has a density of 70 - 90 kg/m³. It is non-flammable, category -0- according to BS 476 report by Warrington Fire Research Company. Its non-flammability feature prevents melting, formation of liquid drops, or structural changes. It does not contain halogens, heavy metals, and does not mold when exposed to moisture. Its total thickness is 40 mm, and the base thickness is 10 mm. Color black.
