With a little effort, it does the job — but it’s not exactly an excellent nail clipper... It cuts nails fairly easily (although you have to apply some force), while it gets quite stuck on cuticles and hangnails — meaning you have to keep pulling or press very hard for it to cut skin — whereas an old nail clipper I have cuts immediately and without much fuss. The build quality is not excellent either; it’s rather average, with flaws in workmanship, and I’ve uploaded a photo showing the mediocre metal finish that creates "ripples" on the painted surface. Impressive in size, but a dud overall (and expensive for its quality).
