Rubson SL3000 silicone sealant is suitable for waterproofing roofs and repairing cracks. It is 100% silicone, waterproof and water-vapour permeable, with 400% elasticity and resistance to UV radiation. It contains no solvents and can be applied directly with a brush, roller or spatula, without dilution or preparation.
The application surface must be clean and dry, free of dust and grease, with no more than 5% residual moisture. For waterproofing sloped roofs, a wet coating thickness of at least 1.5 mm is recommended. A second and final coat can be applied after 10–12 hours.
