The OptiMate DC to DC brings TecMate's top automated functions to places without access to the electrical grid. It is the ideal tool to charge the battery of your motorcycle, ATV, Jet-Ski, or boat during transport (on the trailer), drawing power from the towing vehicle's battery.

Main Features & Functions

  • Plug-Free Charging (Battery-to-Battery): Connects to the main 12V source battery of your car or RV and takes care of charging, diagnosing, and maintaining a second 12V battery.
  • Source Battery Protection: The charger features a smart protection system that automatically stops operation if the source battery voltage drops below 11V. This ensures there is no risk of draining your car battery and being left unable to start.
  • Multi-Chemistry Compatibility: Automatically adjusts to the connected battery type. It is completely safe and specialized for both classic Lead Acid batteries and modern Lithium batteries.
  • Advanced Recovery (Save from 2V): Can recognize, pulse desulfate, and "revive" deeply discharged batteries that have dropped as low as 2V.
  • BMS Reactivation (BMS Reset): Includes a special function that sends a reset signal to Lithium batteries whose Battery Management System (BMS) has locked due to full discharge.
  • Smart 24/7 Maintenance: Can remain connected for long periods. It consumes power from the source only when the battery being charged really needs it (Stand-by under 0.5W).
