The Canon RF 800mm F5.6 L IS USM is a prime telephoto lens for cameras with a Canon RF mount and a full-frame sensor. Its optical construction includes Fluorite, UD and Super UD elements, while the image stabilizer works in conjunction with the camera’s in-body stabilization. Focus can be switched to manual at any time.
The magnesium-alloy barrel has a heat-insulating coating, while the Fluorine coating on the outer optical elements repels dust and moisture. The aperture mechanism has 1/8-stop increments, while the two focus presets and customizable autofocus stop button allow you to tailor operation. It is compatible with the RF Extender, and the focus direction can be reversed.
