The Axagon ADSA-1S adapter connects 2.5″ SATA III, SATA II and SATA I drives to a computer via USB 2.0, and also supports booting from a connected HDD or SSD. It is powered via USB, and Plug and Play operation enables automatic device recognition. The blue indicator light stays on while the adapter is connected and flashes during data transfer.

The plastic enclosure holds a 2.5″ drive up to 9.5 mm high together with the adapter. Foam inserts are included to ensure a better fit for 7 mm drives. The HDD Auto Spindown function lets you set the idle time before the drive spins down, while Hot Plug supports connection while the computer is running.
