Description

Description

The Hoya Mist Diffuser Black No. 0.5 lens filter diffuses light sources, creating a soft halo around highlights and specular light sources. It reduces overall contrast, particularly in the shadows, and softens the appearance of wrinkles and skin blemishes for a more romantic look in still images and videos.

The cinematic mist effect is created by fine black nano powder distributed between two layers of optical glass bonded together. The optical glass preserves image detail, while the absence of a multi-coating enhances flare. The slim aluminum frame allows the filter to be used on wide-angle lenses without vignetting.

  • Type: Mist diffusion filter
  • Diameter: 77 mm
  • Material: Optical glass and aluminum
  • Packaging: Single item
