    It is very weak. It does not even come close to the 30 meters stated in the description. I bought it mainly for outdoor use, but it turned out to be useless in those conditions. I tried it one afternoon without sunlight and its beam was not visible even at one meter. Maybe it really does reach 30 meters, but only in complete darkness.
    [Edit: Indoors it is fine and does reach the ~30m it says. I tried it again at dusk outdoors (~20:15 on 27/7) and at ~6m the area around the beam was fine, you can aim it. By 9:40 when it got dark, I managed to get some work done.]

Its plastics appear to be of good quality, with quite a few accessories (target, magnetic base, support stand, remote control) and in a convenient case (though not hard...). In an indoor space with lighting, the laser is clearly visible at a distance of >20m. I will try it in an outdoor space with light, but generally, all lasers struggle when there is light!
