Description

This groundbreaking book explores one of the greatest cover-ups in history and dares to contemplate the unthinkable regarding Christianity – that it was actually a Jewish Secret School modeled on ancient Pagan Mysteries.

The myth of Dionysus bears stunning similarities to the story of Jesus Christ. It is compared to the biblical story in the following ways:

  • Dionysus is the God who becomes flesh and is praised as the "Savior of Humanity" and "Son of God"
  • His father is God and his mother is a mortal virgin who is later worshipped as the "Mother of God"
  • He is born in a stable
  • He casts out demons, turns water into wine, and resurrects people
  • He triumphantly enters the city while the people wave palm branches to honor him

The date respected by the early Christians as the birth date of Jesus was originally that of Dionysus; also, the three-day Spring Festival of Dionysus, celebrating his death and resurrection, coincides with the Christian festival of Easter. The Last Supper and the Eucharist are also parallel Dionysian rituals. This is not common knowledge as the story has been a strictly guarded secret of the Pagan Mysteries. Secondly, the evidence of the pagan roots of Christianity has been systematically covered up by the Roman Church.
