The DIGITUS MST hub uses Multi Stream Transport technology (DisplayPort 1.2 mode), which allows multiple AV signals to be transferred via a single cable. This facilitates the use of multiple screens connected through the MST Hub configuration. The MST hub can distribute different video streams to the three connected screens.
In general, it supports three playback modes:
- mirror (1 signal mirrored on 3 screens)
- extend (3 signals on 3 screens)
- distribute (1 signal distributed on 3 screens)
- Type
- Splitter
