The cognitive area of Information and Systems Security in Cyberspace attracts, on a global scale, an ever-increasing interest from researchers, scholars, and professionals in the field of information and communication technologies and in application environments. This interest is also reflected in the curricula of Universities and Polytechnics in our country, where a multitude of courses have been integrated at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The scientific editors of the collective volume are university professors who have been teaching, researching, and studying, for more than thirty years, issues of security and privacy protection. They have taught related courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Greece and abroad, and they participate, from various positions, in the advancement of this cognitive area at both the national and international levels.
