Behind the words…, within the words. From any perspective, the need to transform language naturally leads to the creation of a method within the fluid space of theater.
In the case of theater, language is dual, consisting of the signifier and the signified. The Dictionary of Theater Theory and Semiology represents my initial attempt to interpret the theatrical linguistic being and appearance.
Furthermore, this work potentially represents an approach in deconstructive terms to the theatrical object, which defines the nature of the theatrical sign. Moreover, this dictionary heralds a second corpus that will methodologically deepen the analysis of theatrical language.
