Bentonite for Winemaking - 1 kg
Features: Bentonite induces good clarification and rapid sedimentation of solid masses. It has the ability to increase its volume in water (gelatinization) and causes flocculation and precipitation of colloids and proteins.
Dosing:
- For white wines: 50g to 80g per 100 liters of wine.
- For red wines: 50g to 70g per 100 liters of wine.
How to use:
Dissolve the bentonite in lukewarm water by adding it little by little and stirring until it becomes a slurry. Then add the slurry to the wine and stir vigorously. Let the sediment settle to the bottom and after 10 days, filter it.
