I did some research on which robot vacuum to get. I didn't know this particular brand. In the end, it is very good. I have been using the vacuum for 1 year.
It is quite high quality as a construction and does its job very well with some small flaws. If you have a pet, a robot vacuum is a one-way street. Also, in general, as a function, the vacuum is perfect because you can operate it even if you are away from home and also if people are coming over and you want a quick refresh. It saved us. I buy spare parts again from Ali/Temu very cheaply.

Positives:

1. If you set it to vacuum/mop the house every few days, you don't need to do anything yourself. We only use a regular vacuum and mop once a month.
2. The convenience with the automatic bin is very good. You put clean water and special detergent (I got it from Ali-Temu) and you don't have to bother for a long time (depending on how often you use it). I use it very often as a vacuum (every 3 days) and occasionally together with the mop (once a week).
3. The mapping and the app are very good. You need to learn and set it up first for about a month and then you just press buttons and it starts its job.
4. As I wrote above, it's a must for a pet with a lot of hair. We don't have carpets so I have no opinion on that. On parquet and mosaic it works very well. On high power it leaves nothing behind (dust, hair).
5. The mopping function is better than I expected. It doesn't do miracles but it's very good for maintenance.
6. The battery is very good, for us it works for 115 square meters and still has battery left so it's for much more.

Negatives:

1. Main problem. Our dog has long and a lot of hair. If the floor is full and you set it to vacuum then:
a. It gets stuck on the wheel underneath where a lot of hair gathers and you need to use your hand to remove them.
b. The automatic suction with the bin gets clogged by the hair. Again, you need to put your hand inside the bin/base to pull them out and unblock it.
I have seen that there is a new model that has 2 wheels underneath that collect hair so I guess it doesn't clog. We use the vacuum often so that not too much hair accumulates.
2. It doesn't handle cables well at all. If you have them loose on the floor and they are thin, it will definitely suck them up and stop working. I have mine hanging high in one spot so I don't have to fix them every time. Also, it will stop if it sucks up a sock or a piece of stone or something like that. The obstacle avoidance function is average. This is not very important for us though, we have found solutions.
3. It's not for situations like 'oh, I spilled coffee, come clean it up.' The mop, as we said, is for maintenance. If there are stuck stains, it has a hard time cleaning them. It definitely refreshes them and makes them better if you set it to turbo for 2 times.
4. On high power the motor is quite noisy. On the lower settings, you can't hear it.
5. It takes a long time to do the whole house. It needs 1.5 hours.

I was between the Xiaomi X20+ and the Roborock Q Revo. Although Xiaomi offers about 95% of the same features and was more affordable (the Roborock Q Revo Sept. 2024 costs €300+ more than the X20+), I chose the Roborock, mainly due to reliability. I wanted to avoid the (potential) unpredictable glitches/behaviors of the X20+, shorter overall lifespan, battery issues, etc., that have been reported by users. If it works for me for 3-4 years without problems and does the job I bought it for, I will be satisfied. For some reason, I had the impression that Xiaomi would give me trouble and I would have to buy another one in 1.5-2 years. Only time will tell.

Aside from that, I must say the packaging is very careful and all the parts are of high quality. It also comes with an extra bag.

Simple and quick installation, clear printed instructions that are understandable (in English), user-friendly and feature-rich app (for someone familiar), quick mapping, extensive customization. The base is quite large, but it's justified.

I used it for a few hours only; it did a sweeping-mopping job, and the first impressions are positive. Family with 2 small children. Now I just need to convince my wife...

I don't promise for an update; I won't come back.

I bought this model after extensive research. Of course, I read reviews on Skroutz and other sites, but mainly I looked into pages that test robot vacuums with a scientific approach so that their results are comparable from one model to another. I was between this and the S8 MaxV, or whatever it’s called, which essentially has the same features but a significant price difference. After my research, the only weakness of this particular model is obstacle detection, as the sensor for this is only light-based, while the S8 also has an additional sensor that makes it more detailed in object detection. Here, it’s worth mentioning that the S8’s double main brush has an advantage if there are people with long hair in the house, as it prevents hair from getting tangled around the brush by breaking them. With this one, you need to check every 3-4 cleanings to see if any hair is tangled. Since this wasn’t something that concerned me personally, I went ahead and bought the Q Revo.

Now, let’s talk about how the vacuum is. To say it upfront, I haven’t found any negatives as it has made my life much easier and saved me a lot of time each week, since we have a medium-haired dog that fills the place with hair in a day and we vacuum every day. The only, let’s say, more difficult thing is the programming, but it is fully customizable.

If, like us, you have an issue with pet hair, then you need to set up a routine where the vacuum cleans in zones you create so it can return to empty its bin (it has a small capacity, as expected), clean the mopping pads, and then continue with the next zone. If you choose to clean the whole house or specific rooms, then it will return to the base every time it finishes a room. I mention these as tips so you don’t have to search too much depending on how you’ll use it.

The vacuum leaves nothing behind, no hair, no dust, no dirt, nothing. It mops wonderfully and I didn’t expect such a good result from a robot vacuum. I put a tiny amount of general-purpose cleaning liquid (1/3 of the cap) and a bit of vinegar in the clean water tank to ensure proper cleaning.

According to the instructions and the pages that do thorough reviews, it does not replace the vacuuming and mopping you do yourself. It’s for effective maintenance, but now I vacuum and mop myself once a week instead of vacuuming every day and mopping every other day. Also, when I mop, I see that the water doesn’t get as dirty as before, so it really does its job.

A tip, because I read comments about odors, etc.: read the instructions. Every device needs maintenance; you need to regularly wash the tray at the base where it washes the mopping pads, I also wash the dirty water tank when it fills up, as well as the pads from time to time, and I clean the vacuum brush of hair (about once a week, if that). It has never produced a bad smell. Also, robot vacuums are not for cleaning up liquids or large messes—I read somewhere people complaining it didn’t clean up dog poop... obviously. Every device has its use and within that framework, it works correctly, so consider what it can do and how you intend to use it.

TL;DR: The vacuum is capable and does what it promises. It has made our lives easier and saved us a lot of time in daily house maintenance. We have programmed it for daily vacuuming and mopping, which takes a total of 45 minutes for the areas we set (about 30 sq.m.), it’s not noisy, and it leaves the floor sparkling!

I think it’s one of the best choices even though it belongs to the high mid-range. It will definitely meet the needs of most, if not all.

Edit: For those worried about spare parts (filters, brushes, etc.), you can easily and cheaply buy them from Ali. Roborock does not have official representation in Greece, so unfortunately, that’s the only way.

Update 18/06/2026: I’ve had it for 2 years now, running 3-4 times a week all this time in vacuuming & mopping mode. Its performance hasn’t dropped and the battery lasts just as well. With proper care (cleaning, changing brush, filters when needed), it’s still like new. It has helped us a lot in maintaining the house since we have a dog that sheds a lot and it has saved us a lot of time.

The vacuum cleaner is excellent. It has saved us a lot of time. If you are in another room you don't hear it at all, if you are in the same room you can hear the sound of its wheels, which is very low and personally does not bother me at all. The only time it makes noise like an actual vacuum cleaner is when it empties the dust container at its base. Also, the base is noisy when filling and emptying water for mopping. It is great for vacuuming! It leaves nothing on the floor. It is also great for mopping! Until the special cleaning liquid (omo roborock) arrives, I used it to mop only with water and I was very satisfied. With the special liquid, I also notice a difference in the smell. The dirty water container ideally should be emptied after each mopping to avoid odors, but it is up to each individual. The mapping is automatically updated after each use. The first time, I lifted everything off the floor to make the mapping as extensive as possible, and then I put down all the items that were moved (e.g. stools, plants, kitchen chairs) and it started adjusting them on its map as obstacles. Its application is very easy to use, the programs work properly on time, the joystick for manual control is very good, and the spot cleaning covers an area of about 2 sq.m. from the point where I press it. On the first day I got it, I spent about 2 hours with it, for settings, mapping, etc., and from then on, whenever it asks, I fill and empty the water containers. If I could give an extra bonus star for how much it has saved me time, I would!

Set it and forget it.
Since I live in a first-floor apartment and have a lot of dirt, it is incredibly convenient. You can easily set it to work at any time, determine if it will clean the whole house and in which order of rooms.
The only thing I do is arrange the chairs in a way that it can cover more floor space.
It self-cleans and refills water. Perfect mopping with the rotating brushes.
Quiet... It makes more noise from the front wheel bouncing on the joints of the tiles, but it's not a problem. During emptying, it makes a little noise like a professional hairdryer, but only for a few seconds. The drying of the mop takes 2-3 hours but it is completely silent from a small motor that should not consume electricity...
Also, what I liked is the pin and go function that allows you to send it wherever you want for spot cleaning. It also has a remote control function that you can use to guide it like a remote control, but I haven't used it.
In the 3-4 weeks that I have it, I only empty the dirty water and refill it with clean water when needed.
I occasionally check its small internal bin, but it hasn't needed any cleaning yet, although it has a notification for every maintenance.
It seems durable, although I have also pre-ordered its spare parts...
Very satisfied!
> Attention the first time you put it into operation it takes a walk to assess the space and then after cleaning it will make the perfect map, it rearranges it every time. Do not leave the front doors open... It will clean the whole neighborhood...!! (joke)

P.S. In response to another user who asks how to do different cleaning programs...
From the main screen (as soon as you enter the application) it gives you the option to select the vacuum cleaner you have (if you have multiple ones, if you have only one, it will only show the one you have registered) and at the bottom, there is an option to create whatever program you want, for example, only vacuuming, only mopping, and to set it to repeat whenever you want.

What a gift of technology is this (;!)
First time I get a robot vacuum. I searched for hours reviews and comparisons before I ended up here. This vacuum is the epitome of convenience. It vacuums, mops, washes itself and empties the water. You set it up and forget about it, you don't need to do anything. And judging by how dirty the water it puts in the bin is, it does a good job!

1. Noise:
I have no comparison measure with other vacuums but I am not bothered at all by any noise it makes (even while I am working in parallel). I would characterize it as relatively quiet.
2. Navigation:
It maps the space very quickly and accurately. It makes small updates of the space in every cleaning. It has relatively good obstacle avoidance. If you have scattered cables on the floor, manage them somehow because it will get stuck. Put a carpet or an obstacle on top so the vacuum doesn't go there.
3. Application:
As it progresses and cleans, you monitor its route on the app and see what obstacles it has encountered! You can define as many areas as you want on the mapped surface and choose which ones it will clean and how efficiently (1,2 or 3 cycles)!. It has settings for suction intensity and water flow, setting for automatic cleaning on the days/times you want, setting to charge at night, it shows you when you need to change the parts and much more!
4. Battery:
With one charge it cleans the whole house (100sqm) with 3 cycles (you don't need all 3 but if you want to you can).
5. Cleaning:
Overall very satisfied. I have a spotless house, I walk barefoot every day. For difficult spots that the vacuum doesn't reach, you will have to use your hand. It won't completely clean the very tough dried stains. However, if you don't let the house get very dirty before you use it, dirt doesn't accumulate in the corners or stains, it prevents them.
Get the special roborock liquid, do not use common floor cleaner inside, you will ruin it.
The rooms of the house that get dirtier (kitchen-bathroom) pass them 2 or 3 cycles to shine!

Coming from ROIDMI EVE PLUS (broke down in one year with minimal functionality and never found service in our country)

I patiently waited for it to come to our country and I believe I was justified in my choice.

Let's start with the positives:

Tremendous mobile application with endless possibilities
Beautiful vacuum cleaner and its base
In normal mode, it is completely silent in silence, you can't even tell it's there, in turbo mode you simply hear it. In turbo mode, the EVE PLUS sounds like a plane passing through the living room.
The mopping it does is on another level literally. I have 170 square meters of parquet and it made it look brand new. You fill the water tank once and you don't have to deal with it again until it's empty. It turns on its own, cleans the mop every now and then, cleans the mop and goes back out to continue. Also, when it finishes mopping and returns to its base, it has a dry mode that washes and dries the mop, which is incredible because you don't need to remove the mop pads to dry and clean them.
With 170 meters and several carpets, it only used up 60% of the battery in turbo mode.
Something I really liked, in the application it shows you how worn out the main brush or the filter is and if something needs to be replaced. This is very important to have an idea of when and what needs to be changed.

As for the negatives, I have nothing to say. Everything is currently 10/10. I will come back after a year of use and 4 times a week operation.
