The Axagon ADR-310 USB cable acts as an active USB-A extension and boosts the signal, allowing a USB device to be connected over a greater distance than with a passive cable. It supports USB 3.0, with data transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps, and is compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. It can be connected to a computer and peripherals such as a mouse, keyboard, webcam, printer or scanner.

Power is supplied via the USB port, while the active unit features a Micro USB socket for optional external power at 5 V / 1–2 A. Two indicator lights show power and USB connection status. It supports Plug and Play and Hot Plug, and no additional drivers are required on supported operating systems.
