I wonder about the reviews that describe it as warm. Either they don't experience real cold or they are so happy with the logo that it doesn't matter if they get cold.
The jacket is comparable to a €60 jacket from mid-range brands like Admiral, etc.
It is windproof, but not waterproof, just resistant to rain. It gets soaked in heavy rain.
In terms of thermal insulation, it is clearly a mid-season jacket. It is simply inadequate for temperatures below 10 degrees. It is better to see it as an outer shell, a thin windbreaker. The fleece lining is a joke. You definitely need a serious middle layer.
The hood is incredibly uncomfortable. It has the design of polar hoods that tightly cover the face for cold weather, but given that the jacket is for spring, what use is the polar hood? All it does is obstruct your vision and squeeze your head.
In terms of construction quality, it is again comparable to a €60 jacket. The zipper started opening from the bottom on its own after a year, and the Velcro has worn out.
In short, it is a mediocre jacket that should cost at most €80. You are simply paying for the absolute mediocrity to have the fancy Northface logo on it and go for a coffee in the city center. It is useless for a trip to the mountains, a Central European country in winter, or in Athens during those 10 cold days in February.
If you are going to spend that much money on a jacket for cold weather, spend a little more to get a ski jacket on sale.
Απορώ με τις κριτικές που το περιγράφουν ως ζεστό. Ή δεν πάνε σε πραγματικό κρύο, ή χαίρονται τόσο από το logo που δεν πειράζει αν κρυώνουν.
Το μπουφάν είναι εφάμιλλο ενός των 60€ από μάρκες μεσαιας κατηγοριας, τύπου admiral κλπ.
Είναι αντιανεμικό, όμως επουδενί αδιάβροχο απλά ανθεκτικό στη βροχή. Στην μπόρα ποτίζει έως μέσα.
Στο ζήτημα θερμικής μόνωσης είναι ένα μπουφάν μεσαίας εποχής ξεκάθαρα. Για κρυο κάτω των 10 βαθμών είναι απλά ανεπαρκέστατο. Περισσότερο δείτε το ως ένα outer shell, ένα λεπτό αντιανεμικό δηλαδή. Το Φλις του είναι μια κοροϊδία. Χρειάζεσαι οπωσδήποτε middle layer σοβαρό.
Η κουκούλα είναι απίστευτα άβολη.
Έχει το design των polar που καλύπτουν το πρόσωπο σφικτά για το κρύο, αλλά δεδομένου ότι το μπουφάν είναι ανοιξιάτικο τι να την κάνεις την πολική κουκούλα. Το μόνο που σου κάνει είναι να μη βλεπεις και να σου πιέζει το κεφάλι.
Από ποιότητα κατασκευής πάλι αντίστοιχο ενός των 60€. Το φερμουάρ σε έναν χρόνο άρχισε να ανοίγει από κάτω μόνο του και τα βελκρο έχουν ξεφτισει.
Κοινώς, ένα μέτριο μπουφάν που θα έπρεπε να κάνει το πολύ 80. Απλά πληρώνεις την απόλυτη μετριότητα για να έχεις πάνω τη fancy στάμπα northface και να πας για κάνα καφέ στο κέντρο. Για ταξίδι σε βουνό, κεντροευρωπαικη χώρα τον χειμώνα ή στην Αθήνα αυτές τις 10 μέρες του Φλεβάρη που έχει κρύο είναι απλά άχρηστο.
Αν είναι να δώσεις τόσα λεφτά για να παρεις μπουφάν για κρυο, δώσε λιγα παραπάνω να πάρεις μπουφάν του σκι στις εκπτώσεις.
