Just right as an extra drive for the Steam library. I was very satisfied for the money I spent.

Very fast. USB sticks are over... only USB SSD from now on. Writing speed even 500mb/sec, "like a train"

Very fast and most importantly, it is an SSD drive even though it's in stick form. Its price is unbeatable. As for its lifespan, I can't say since it's the first time I'm buying the Adata brand.

  • Normally I should say third letter plus "the". It's a standard SSD drive, on a 3.2 port it gives about 500 MB/s. I installed Fedora on it and left an NTFS partition for the poor souls just in case. Boots even with safe UEFI. It makes all other USB flash drives look like garbage.

Yesterday I received it, so the review concerns my first impressions. Essentially, it is an external SSD the size of a "flash USB." I bought it for fast transfers of large volumes of data. I connected it to USB 3.2 gen 2 and got the performance shown in the attached image, practically almost maxing out SATA3 performance. The size is, in my opinion, just right so you don't easily lose it (personally, I wouldn't buy something smaller), and the slide mechanism helps protect the part that connects to the USB port. I don't know how reliable this mechanism will be over time. The outer material is plastic, and the device heats up like a regular SSD. Obviously, aluminum would help more with cooling, but it would also increase the cost. In any case, the 5-year warranty allows you not to worry. At €37 for the 500GB that I bought (SEP. 2024), it is top value compared to competitive offerings.

I'm not an expert, it seems to work just fine, I don't know about measurements, if you find it at a good price I think it's worth it, time will tell of course...
26/10/2024 Since I saw that some of you are considering buying it, so far no problems, as for heating, I wouldn't say that, its temperature is as expected, it doesn't concern me.
    Good continuation
