Very mediocre product in terms of usefulness.
On the positive side, I will say that it was bought cheaply, but without a battery, and also that it was recognized relatively easily by Home Assistant/ZHA and all its option parameters were found via zigbee, such as siren volume and different sounds.
However, its negatives are quite a few.
First of all, it is advertised as outdoor, which I have no reason to doubt, but I also have no indication to believe it is true. For example, no opening is waterproofed with any rubber. In addition, the power supply, which is necessary (I will explain below), is a simple micro USB plug which also has no provision for moisture/rain.
Its volume, even at the maximum level, is really low... Not even half that of a normal alarm siren, and if placed inside an apartment, nothing can be heard outside. From the available sounds, you also realize that it is probably a notification or announcement product and not an alarm.
Its biggest problem for me, however, is its power supply. I mistakenly assumed that since it is powered by a large single-use lithium battery (not cheap and hard to find) and since it is not a product that needs to constantly send sensor feedback or some event, this battery could keep it at least for a few months on stand-by, without USB power. In practice, with good branded batteries (with the bunny that never stops) it lasts at most 2 weeks and dies without warning. ZHA sees the battery level indication so a notification automation can be written, but it is pointless for such a short lifespan. The USB, apart from being inconvenient as a cable for siren use due to placement peculiarities, has no provision for any event when it is removed or maliciously cut.
In summary, yes, for €15 you buy something that, due to its features, zigbee, etc., is very fairly priced, but in practice it cannot be used in almost any usage scenario, especially as an alarm siren.
    A pity because I bought 4 pieces!

  • Quite powerful for indoor use. For those interested, it works perfectly with Home Assistant and zigbee2MQTT. You can normally change the melody and sound volume on the siren from Home Assistant

Quite a good product for its price. I use it with home assistant (ZHA), it connects without any problems and with a little searching there is the possibility to adjust volume, melody, etc.
