Jordan’s Biography: Robert Jordan (the pen name of James Oliver Rigney Jr.) was born on October 17, 1948, in Charleston, South Carolina, USA. After his service in the Vietnam War – where he was decorated for heroism and bravery – he enrolled at the Military Academy of South Carolina, where he earned a degree in physics. After graduation, he worked in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear engineer. He began writing in 1977.
Sanderson’s Biography: Brandon Sanderson was born in December 1975, in Lincoln, Nebraska. After completing his studies in biochemistry, he realized that his true calling was writing. He has published many fantasy novels and series and has received rave reviews, with over 20 million copies sold worldwide.
