Owner of the old original Blackwidow, the "I only have green lights my dear, I don't know about Chroma" one. The time for a big change has come.
ANYONE WHO IS NOT USED to the key layout SHOULD NOT BUY IT AND THEN COMPLAIN!!!! COME ON. It's 2025-2026, you have internet, do some damn market research beforehand.
IF you still buy it, it will take you a bit to get used to all the keys being a tad to the right.
I didn't face this problem at all since I had the old one for years.
Upgrades:
First of all, the aluminum chassis makes it sturdier.
The keys are floating so better visibility for the RGB etc. etc. and you avoid the hassle of removing them to clean. Side RGB like the old Huntsman and you also have the wrist rest which in this one DOES NOT HAVE RGB like the Pro.
The old one had the so-called Green keys while the one I got has the Yellow ones which makes it quieter/silent. It's smaller compared to the 2014 relic despite the wrist rest but you don't have extra USB.
It has the new Synapse and with the Chroma Studio as a separate app (because I don't understand why) you can make various designs and colors etc. etc.
I haven't seen ghosting or double tap or any malfunction.
That's the reason I changed anyway.
As usual, it comes with stickers like all Razer products and a detachable cable.
The packaging is now poorer, it used to be a bit more premium but that's maybe nitpicking.
If a problem appears, I'll come back.

Of course, it could have been like the 75% where you can change all the switches. Since they went the extra mile and started it, they could have done it on the big keyboard too.
