This synthetic sharpening stone has a microstructure with open pores. It should only be used with water. Before use, the stone must be soaked in water for 10 to 15 minutes and kept regularly damp during sharpening.
Grains up to 240 are suitable for the main sharpening, while higher grains from 800 ensure the finish. A non-slip rubber base is included.
