Mayhem Brawler for PS5 is an urban fantasy-themed beat ’em up that revives the arcade atmosphere of 1990s games. Dolphin, Star and Trouble, members of the superpowered Stronghold police force, set out on a patrol that unfolds into events capable of changing the city’s fate. The story is shaped by the players’ choices and leads to one of three different endings.
Combat is built around move combos and special abilities as the heroes take on superpowered criminals, werewolves, street sorcery and criminal organisations controlled by vampire houses. Hand-drawn comic-book-style backgrounds, frame-by-frame animated characters and a dynamic soundtrack set the scene for the action. The game supports offline co-op for up to 4 players.
