Description

Description

The gas/petrol inverter generator KS 3100iG S from the German brand "Könner & Söhnen" in a soundproof casing serves as a convenient, portable, and low-noise power source.

The main feature of this model is that it ensures a clean sine wave of current. The engines of K&S inverter generators have an ECO mode, which allows the generator to operate at low speeds and reduces fuel consumption by up to 50%. The high-quality alternator with copper winding and the powerful engine ensure seamless and long-term operation.

CLEAN SINE WAVE The built-in control unit with microprocessor control ensures that the technical processes of the generator are controlled and monitored with a stable frequency of 50Hz and a voltage of 230V.

LPG/PETROL The generator can operate on both petrol and liquefied petroleum gas (propane).

Review this product
  • Quality of construction?
  • Starts easily
  • It is not noisy
  • Is it easy to transfer?
  • Power supply stability
  • Fuel consumption
  • Value for money
  • Tank size
  • I haven't used it much yet so I can't comment on fuel consumption and stable operation.
It doesn't have an adapter to fit Greek LPG bottles. It seems to be of quality construction.
    Time will tell.......

It is very good and economical in consumption. It uses about 0.3 kg of LPG per hour. With a 10 kg bottle that I use, it lasts about 30 hours (not continuously of course because after 5-6 hours you need to let it cool down). As a negative, I found that the nut on the hose I received for the bottle does not fit the bottle's thread and I made my own. I don't know if this happens with all generators, I'm just mentioning it. Note that I operate it at about 30% of the 3000w it can handle, so the consumption I mention above is based on that, because it is an Inverter and how much you strain it affects what it will consume, and of course that's the good thing. That's all.
