It would be excellent if the screen wasn’t so fragile (apparently this is common for the model).

I bought three devices in 01/2026.
Now, 06/2026 (5 months later), on one device, although it was working at night, in the morning the screen was broken.

Exactly when I was thinking of getting a fourth device… let’s see how it goes with the warranty.

It is the best, even nicer than Kobo and Kindle, and it also has buttons that, although you might not think you'll need them, are super useful. You can upload any book you want if you have the file from your phone, etc. Additionally, you also have the option to play games like chess and sudoku

my daughter got it for me about 3 years ago - it did split screen out of nowhere - what a pity, I had loved it! time for a new one!!

Nice ereader, fair for its price and a good first choice for those thinking of buying such a device for the first time. It may have low resolution in its specs but personally I haven't had any issues so far with images where this would be noticeable. It definitely needs a case and care like all ereaders because this type of screen is particularly sensitive. The feature to upload epub books to Dropbox and sync the ereader with Dropbox is very nice and useful. 4 stars because I don't know what the situation is with spare parts or how easy it is to repair.

I ordered 2 as gifts, after about 2 months of use the first and one and a half months the second, the screens broke. On the first one, about 1/3 of the screen at the top left and center is stuck on the default lock screen and the rest of the screen works normally, for the second one see the photo.
The first one broke one night while it was resting on a nightstand, the second one during reading.

Very easy to read, extremely easy to use. It is naturally a bit "slow" when uploading files but it does its job more than well. If I were to buy again, I would choose the pro for the color function. The battery lasts for a very long time, especially if the lighting is set to automatic

The best e-reader out there, Kobo and Kindle don't even compare in terms of quality and price. It supports all types of files and the battery lasts almost a month with daily reading. I have managed to read almost everything available in the electronic library of the national library. Do yourself a favor and set Koreader as the default for opening books, not the stock Pocketbook reader. It really makes an incredible difference in personalization and reading speed.

After 3-4 months of having and using this product, I can say that it is the best purchase I have made. If you read books obsessively, you definitely need it. Reading is very pleasant... it's not the same as on a phone; your eyes don't hurt no matter how many hours you spend reading... it saves you money and space from buying classic printed books... it's small, fits everywhere, lightweight, and the battery with continuous use is almost endless... it doesn't have a user-friendly browser, but there is Dropbox where you can easily download books from any device, and they appear on the pocketbook... prefer e-pub files and not pdf for better reading... I highly recommend it, and I haven't experienced any defects or freezes with the device!!!!

A noteworthy device with a suitable size (I think). The buttons it has did not help me. The software is different from what we are used to (android - ios) and can seem cumbersome. However, it is absolutely honest and relatively fast, as long as you make your registrations in the various required (adobe id, pocketbook cloud, etc.). There are few free books available, and the library has some for borrowing. It works well only with epub. For simple pdfs (text only - simple page layout), you won't encounter many problems.

Excellent value for money, some friends got more expensive models and the only difference was in the speed of the menus. I stick with my choice.

Very comfortable reading, very good battery life. Finally, I can read whenever I want without bothering anyone and comfortably. In some screen transitions, like selecting a book, etc., there is a delay of a few seconds, but it's tolerable. The size of the screen is just right... A year and more later, I have enjoyed it so much. Time savings, money savings, comfort, autonomy. Get it with your eyes closed.
