6 inches aren’t ideal for PDF files¹ — although digital, non-scanned (native) PDFs are often reasonably readable with the “reflow” option in the settings². For EPUBs, however, as well as (non-Amazon) MOBI files, the PocketBook Verse is simply perfect [see photo with one of the many cases I use]. I’ve loaded it with hundreds of books, mostly in English and Spanish, but also in Greek — the latter purchased from Patakis, Metaichmio, Psychogios, Dioptra, Ikaros, etc., most of them protected with Adobe DRM.
[**Note**: E-books without DRM protection can also be sent by email as attachments to our device’s personal email address (something like *****@pbsync.com), if we don’t prefer the traditional method of connecting the device to a PC, tablet, or phone with a USB cable. If the e-books are DRM-protected, we send the book’s acsm link as an attachment; the device will download the book and open it without any problem. In the same way, we can send the PB Verse the acsm file for a book we bought on Google Play (a large collection of e-books in Greek, too!). We can download the acsm file only from the **website** https://play.google.com/books — it isn’t possible from the app! Next to the title of the book we bought, we tap the three dots → Export → Export ACSM for EPUB; now that the acsm file is in Downloads, we send it as an attachment to the PB Verse. This process is easy on a PC, but somewhat more difficult on an Android device (phone or tablet), where we first have to open a browser window (e.g. Chrome), select Desktop site from the menu, and then type or paste the address https://play.google.com/books]
The device’s English-Greek dictionary is quite extensive, which I didn’t expect :) Unfortunately, the English-English one is Webster’s 1913 (!), but we can download various dictionaries (Greek ones, too!) in .dic format to a PC, tablet, or phone, and simply copy-paste them into the device’s system → dictionaries folder; search for more information in the PocketBook community on Reddit.
The PB Verse is also compatible with the — not particularly impressive — National Library’s e-lending library (2,612 titles in March 2026).
It’s lightweight and convenient, and I always take it with me so I can read whenever I get the chance, wherever I am. Although its 8GB of storage is generally considered sufficient, I’ve also installed an additional 32GB SD card.
It connects to the internet via Wi-Fi, but of course the browser is slow.
Although it has a touchscreen, I find the dedicated buttons it also has more convenient for turning pages.
Reading is even more comfortable with the screen light ON, even when the surroundings aren’t particularly dark, by adjusting the brightness and — very importantly — the “temperature” of the light accordingly.
The battery is practically inexhaustible.

[1] PDFs are designed so that each page always remains the same, like a photograph, regardless of whether we view it on a screen or print it. This means that something made to be read on a large computer screen (and printed on A4 paper) will be crammed terribly onto a small 6- or 7-inch screen, and will probably become unreadable. Still, some PDFs are much more comfortable to read if we remove their (useless) white margins before loading them onto the device; this is very easy to do on a PC with the excellent Briss 0.9 app, which we can download for free. Needless to say, reading PDFs is significantly easier in landscape orientation.

Είναι ελαφρύ, βολικό, και το έχω πάντα μαζί μου για να διαβάζω με κάθε ευκαιρία, όπου κι αν βρίσκομαι. Αν και τα 8GB αποθηκευτικού χώρου που διαθέτει θεωρούνται γενικά επαρκή, έχω εγκαταστήσει επιπλέον και μια κάρτα SD των 32GB.
Συνδέεται με το διαδίκτυο μέσω Wi-Fi, αλλά φυσικά o browser είναι αργός.
Αν και έχει οθόνη αφής, για αλλαγή σελίδας με βολεύουν πιο πολύ τα ειδικά κουμπιά που επίσης διαθέτει.
Η ανάγνωση γίνεται ακόμα πιο άνετη με το φωτισμό οθόνης στο ON, ακόμα κι όταν ο περιβάλλων χώρος δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα σκοτεινός, ρυθμίζοντας αναλόγως την ένταση και — πολύ σημαντικό — τη "θερμοκρασία" του φωτισμού.

[1] Τα PDF είναι έτσι σχεδιασμένα ώστε κάθε σελίδα τους να παραμένει πάντα ίδια, σαν φωτογραφία, ανεξάρτητα αν τη βλέπουμε σε οθόνη ή την τυπώνουμε. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι κάτι που φτιάχτηκε για να διαβάζεται σε μεγάλη οθόνη υπολογιστή (και να εκτυπώνεται σε χαρτί Α4) θα στριμωχτεί τραγικά σε μια μικρή οθόνη τών 6 ή των 7 ιντσών, και πιθανότατα θα καταστεί δυσανάγνωστο. Πάντως κάποια PDF διαβάζονται πολύ πιο άνετα αν τους αφαιρέσουμε τα (άχρηστα) λευκά περιθώρια πριν τα φορτώσουμε στη συσκευή· η διαδικασία γίνεται πανεύκολα στο PC με την πολύ καλή εφαρμογή Briss 0.9 που την κατεβάζουμε δωρεάν. Εξυπακούεται ότι η ανάγνωση των PDF διευκολύνεται σημαντικά σε οριζόντιο προσανατολισμό (landscape).

I bought three devices in 01/2026.
Now, 06/2026 (5 months later), on one device, while it was working at night, in the morning the screen was broken.
Right at the moment I was thinking of buying a fourth device… let’s see how it goes with the warranty.
Update 30/6. The store refused the replacement on the grounds of mechanical stress (it doesn’t even have a scratch). Be careful not to get burned like I did.

Τώρα, 06/2026 (5 μήνες μετά), σε μία συσκευή, ενώ δούλευε το βράδυ, το πρωί η οθόνη ήταν χαλασμένη.
Ακριβώς τη στιγμή που σκεφτόμουν να πάρω και τέταρτη συσκευή… να δούμε πώς θα πάει με την εγγύηση.
Ενημέρωση 30/6. Το κατάστημα αρνήθηκε την αλλαγή με την δικαιολογία μηχανικής καταπόνηση (ούτε γρατζουνιά δεν έχει). Προσέξτε μην τη πατήσετε σαν εμένα.
The size of it and the presence of physical buttons are very convenient. The PocketBook Cloud is also convenient. It syncs books with a mobile phone and a computer. You can also send books to the device (by email) very easily. It also has the option of adding an external memory card. In general, there will be no issue with transferring and storing files.
The screen needs care; it is not comparable in durability to the Gorilla Glass of phones. My first one had the screen crack with a very simple movement; I didn’t even notice. With the second one, I’m more careful.

Πολύ βολικό το μέγεθος του και η παρουσία φυσικών κουμπιών. Επίσης βολικό το pocketbook cloud. Συγχρονίζει βιβλία με κινητό και υπολογιστή. Μπορείς επίσης να στείλεις βιβλία στη συσκευή (σε μέιλ) πολύ εύκολα. Επίσης διαθέτει και δυνατότητα προσθήκης εξωτερικής κάρτας μνήμης. Γενικότερα δε θα υπάρχει θέμα με μεταφορά και αποθήκευση των αρχείων.
Θέλει προσοχή η οθόνη, δε συγκρίνεται σε ανθεκτικότητα με gorilla glass των κινητών. Το πρώτο μου ράγισε η οθόνη με μια πολύ απλή κίνηση, ούτε που κατάλαβα. Στο δεύτερο προσέχω παραπάνω.
Πολύ οικονομικό επίσης. Προσωπικά το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Nice ereader, fair for its price and a good first choice for those thinking of buying such a device for the first time. It may have low resolution in its specs but personally I haven't had any issues so far with images where this would be noticeable. It definitely needs a case and care like all ereaders because this type of screen is particularly sensitive. The feature to upload epub books to Dropbox and sync the ereader with Dropbox is very nice and useful. 4 stars because I don't know what the situation is with spare parts or how easy it is to repair.
Ωραίο ereader, τίμιο για τα χρήματα του και καλή πρώτη επιλογή για όσους σκέφτονται να αγοράσουν πρώτη φορά τέτοια συσκευή. Η λειτουργία να ανεβάζεις βιβλία epub στο Dropbox και να συγχρονίζεις ereader με Dropbox πολυ ωραία και χρήσιμη. 4 αστέρια γιατί δεν ξέρω τι παίζει με ανταλλακτικά ή πόσο εύκολο είναι να επισκευαστεί.
I ordered 2 as gifts, after about 2 months of use the first and one and a half months the second, the screens broke. On the first one, about 1/3 of the screen at the top left and center is stuck on the default lock screen and the rest of the screen works normally, for the second one see the photo.
The first one broke one night while it was resting on a nightstand, the second one during reading.
Παρειγγηλα 2 σαν δώρο, μετά από περίπου 2 μήνες χρήση το πρώτο και ενάμισι μήνα το δεύτερο χαλασαν οι οθόνες. Στο πρώτο, το 1/3 περίπου της οθόνης πάνω αριστερά και κέντρο είναι στην default οθόνη κλειδώματος και η υπόλοιπη οθόνη δουλεύει κανονικά, στο δεύτερο δείτε την φωτογραφία.

The best e-reader out there, Kobo and Kindle don't even compare in terms of quality and price. It supports all types of files and the battery lasts almost a month with daily reading. I have managed to read almost everything available in the electronic library of the national library. Do yourself a favor and set Koreader as the default for opening books, not the stock Pocketbook reader. It really makes an incredible difference in personalization and reading speed.

After 3-4 months of having and using this product, I can say that it is the best purchase I have made. If you read books obsessively, you definitely need it. Reading is very pleasant... it's not the same as on a phone; your eyes don't hurt no matter how many hours you spend reading... it saves you money and space from buying classic printed books... it's small, fits everywhere, lightweight, and the battery with continuous use is almost endless... it doesn't have a user-friendly browser, but there is Dropbox where you can easily download books from any device, and they appear on the pocketbook... prefer e-pub files and not pdf for better reading... I highly recommend it, and I haven't experienced any defects or freezes with the device!!!!

A noteworthy device with a suitable size (I think). The buttons it has did not help me. The software is different from what we are used to (android - ios) and can seem cumbersome. However, it is absolutely honest and relatively fast, as long as you make your registrations in the various required (adobe id, pocketbook cloud, etc.). There are few free books available, and the library has some for borrowing. It works well only with epub. For simple pdfs (text only - simple page layout), you won't encounter many problems.

Βιβλία δωρεάν υπάρχουν λίγα, και η ΕΒΕ έχει κάποια για δανεισμό. Δουλεύει καλά μόνο με epub. Στα απλά pdf (μόνο κείμενο- απλή διάταξη σελίδας) δεν θα αντιμετωπίσεις πολλά προβλήματα.

Είναι ότι καλύτερο ακόμα πιο ωραίο και από kobo και από το kindle επίσης έχει κουμπάκια που ενώ δεν σου φαίνεται ότι θα χρειαστούν είναι φουλ χρήσιμα και μπορείς να κάνεις upload ότι βιβλίο θες αν έχεις το αρχείο από τηλέφωνο κτλ. Ακόμη έχεις και την δυνατότητα να παίζεις παιχνίδια όπως σκάκι και sudoku

Nice ereader, fair for its price and a good first choice for those thinking of buying such a device for the first time. It may have low resolution in its specs but personally I haven't had any issues so far with images where this would be noticeable. It definitely needs a case and care like all ereaders because this type of screen is particularly sensitive. The feature to upload epub books to Dropbox and sync the ereader with Dropbox is very nice and useful. 4 stars because I don't know what the situation is with spare parts or how easy it is to repair.
Ωραίο ereader, τίμιο για τα χρήματα του και καλή πρώτη επιλογή για όσους σκέφτονται να αγοράσουν πρώτη φορά τέτοια συσκευή. Μπορεί να έχει χαμηλή ανάλυση στα χαρακτηριστικά του αλλά προσωπικά δεν είχα μέχρι τώρα θέμα με τις εικόνες που θα φαινόταν κάτι τέτοιο. Θέλει σίγουρα θήκη και προσοχή όπως όλα τα ereader γιατί αυτός ο τύπος οθόνης είναι ιδιαίτερα ευαίσθητος. Η λειτουργία να ανεβάζεις βιβλία epub στο Dropbox και να συγχρονίζεις ereader με Dropbox πολυ ωραία και χρήσιμη. 4 αστέρια γιατί δεν ξέρω τι παίζει με ανταλλακτικά ή πόσο εύκολο είναι να επισκευαστεί.
I ordered 2 as gifts, after about 2 months of use the first and one and a half months the second, the screens broke. On the first one, about 1/3 of the screen at the top left and center is stuck on the default lock screen and the rest of the screen works normally, for the second one see the photo.
The first one broke one night while it was resting on a nightstand, the second one during reading.
Παρειγγηλα 2 σαν δώρο, μετά από περίπου 2 μήνες χρήση το πρώτο και ενάμισι μήνα το δεύτερο χαλασαν οι οθόνες. Στο πρώτο, το 1/3 περίπου της οθόνης πάνω αριστερά και κέντρο είναι στην default οθόνη κλειδώματος και η υπόλοιπη οθόνη δουλεύει κανονικά, στο δεύτερο δείτε την φωτογραφία.
Το πρώτο χάλασε ένα βράδυ ενώ ήταν ακουμπημενο σε κομοδίνο, το δεύτερο εν ώρα διαβάσματος.

Users rate the device positively, mainly for its comfortable, easy-on-the-eyes reading experience and excellent battery life. 6 inches aren’t ideal for PDF files¹ — although digital, non-scanned (native) PDFs are often reasonably readable with the “reflow” option in the settings². For EPUBs, however, as well as (non-Amazon) MOBI files, the PocketBook Verse is simply perfect [see photo with one of the many cases I use]. I’ve loaded it with hundreds of books, mostly in English and Spanish, but also in Greek — the latter purchased from Patakis, Metaichmio, Psychogios, Dioptra, Ikaros, etc., most of them protected with Adobe DRM.
[**Note**: E-books without DRM protection can also be sent by email as attachments to our device’s personal email address (something like *****@pbsync.com), if we don’t prefer the traditional method of connecting the device to a PC, tablet, or phone with a USB cable. If the e-books are DRM-protected, we send the book’s acsm link as an attachment; the device will download the book and open it without any problem. In the same way, we can send the PB Verse the acsm file for a book we bought on Google Play (a large collection of e-books in Greek, too!). We can download the acsm file only from the **website** https://play.google.com/books — it isn’t possible from the app! Next to the title of the book we bought, we tap the three dots → Export → Export ACSM for EPUB; now that the acsm file is in Downloads, we send it as an attachment to the PB Verse. This process is easy on a PC, but somewhat more difficult on an Android device (phone or tablet), where we first have to open a browser window (e.g. Chrome), select Desktop site from the menu, and then type or paste the address https://play.google.com/books]
The device’s English-Greek dictionary is quite extensive, which I didn’t expect :) Unfortunately, the English-English one is Webster’s 1913 (!), but we can download various dictionaries (Greek ones, too!) in .dic format to a PC, tablet, or phone, and simply copy-paste them into the device’s system → dictionaries folder; search for more information in the PocketBook community on Reddit.
The PB Verse is also compatible with the — not particularly impressive — National Library’s e-lending library (2,612 titles in March 2026).
It’s lightweight and convenient, and I always take it with me so I can read whenever I get the chance, wherever I am. Although its 8GB of storage is generally considered sufficient, I’ve also installed an additional 32GB SD card.
It connects to the internet via Wi-Fi, but of course the browser is slow.
Although it has a touchscreen, I find the dedicated buttons it also has more convenient for turning pages.
Reading is even more comfortable with the screen light ON, even when the surroundings aren’t particularly dark, by adjusting the brightness and — very importantly — the “temperature” of the light accordingly.
The battery is practically inexhaustible.
If you’re interested in a protective case (I’d recommend one; I’ve bought many), my favorite is the book-lover’s case I found on the German version of a well-known website: Fintie Case for Pocketbook Verse 840173954300

[1] PDFs are designed so that each page always remains the same, like a photograph, regardless of whether we view it on a screen or print it. This means that something made to be read on a large computer screen (and printed on A4 paper) will be crammed terribly onto a small 6- or 7-inch screen, and will probably become unreadable. Still, some PDFs are much more comfortable to read if we remove their (useless) white margins before loading them onto the device; this is very easy to do on a PC with the excellent Briss 0.9 app, which we can download for free. Needless to say, reading PDFs is significantly easier in landscape orientation.

Οι 6 ίντσες δεν είναι ό,τι καλύτερο για αρχεία PDF ¹ — αν και τα ψηφιακά, μη σκαναρισμένα (native) PDF συχνά διαβάζονται σχετικά ικανοποιητικά με την επιλογή "reflow" στις ρυθμίσεις ². Για EPUB, όμως, καθώς και για (μη αμαζόνια) MOBI, το PocketBook Verse είναι απλώς τέλειο [βλ. φωτογραφία με μια από τις πολλές θήκες που χρησιμοποιώ]. Το έχω φορτώσει με εκατοντάδες βιβλία, κυρίως στα αγγλικά και ισπανικά, αλλά και στα ελληνικά — τα τελευταία αγορασμένα από Πατάκη, Μεταίχμιο, Ψυχογιό, Διόπτρα, Ίκαρο, κ.ά., τα περισσότερα με προστασία Adobe DRM.

Αν και έχει οθόνη αφής, για αλλαγή σελίδας με βολεύουν πιο πολύ τα ειδικά κουμπιά που επίσης διαθέτει.
Η ανάγνωση γίνεται ακόμα πιο άνετη με το φωτισμό οθόνης στο ON, ακόμα κι όταν ο περιβάλλων χώρος δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα σκοτεινός, ρυθμίζοντας αναλόγως την ένταση και — πολύ σημαντικό — τη "θερμοκρασία" του φωτισμού.
Η μπαταρία είναι σχεδόν ανεξάντλητη.

[1] Τα PDF είναι έτσι σχεδιασμένα ώστε κάθε σελίδα τους να παραμένει πάντα ίδια, σαν φωτογραφία, ανεξάρτητα αν τη βλέπουμε σε οθόνη ή την τυπώνουμε. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι κάτι που φτιάχτηκε για να διαβάζεται σε μεγάλη οθόνη υπολογιστή (και να εκτυπώνεται σε χαρτί Α4) θα στριμωχτεί τραγικά σε μια μικρή οθόνη τών 6 ή των 7 ιντσών, και πιθανότατα θα καταστεί δυσανάγνωστο. Πάντως κάποια PDF διαβάζονται πολύ πιο άνετα αν τους αφαιρέσουμε τα (άχρηστα) λευκά περιθώρια πριν τα φορτώσουμε στη συσκευή· η διαδικασία γίνεται πανεύκολα στο PC με την πολύ καλή εφαρμογή Briss 0.9 που την κατεβάζουμε δωρεάν. Εξυπακούεται ότι η ανάγνωση των PDF διευκολύνεται σημαντικά σε οριζόντιο προσανατολισμό (landscape).

It runs Linux and also supports 3rd party e-readers.
It would be excellent if the screen were not so fragile (apparently this is common for the model).
I bought three devices in 01/2026.
Now, 06/2026 (5 months later), on one device, while it was working at night, in the morning the screen was broken.
Right at the moment I was thinking of buying a fourth device… let’s see how it goes with the warranty.
Update 30/6. The store refused the replacement on the grounds of mechanical stress (it doesn’t even have a scratch). Be careful not to get burned like I did.

Θα ήταν εξαιρετικό αν δεν ήταν τόσο ευπαθής η οθόνη (απ’ ό,τι φαίνεται είναι σύνηθες για το μοντέλο).
Αγόρασα τρεις συσκευές τον 01/2026.
Τώρα, 06/2026 (5 μήνες μετά), σε μία συσκευή, ενώ δούλευε το βράδυ, το πρωί η οθόνη ήταν χαλασμένη.
Ακριβώς τη στιγμή που σκεφτόμουν να πάρω και τέταρτη συσκευή… να δούμε πώς θα πάει με την εγγύηση.
Ενημέρωση 30/6. Το κατάστημα αρνήθηκε την αλλαγή με την δικαιολογία μηχανικής καταπόνηση (ούτε γρατζουνιά δεν έχει). Προσέξτε μην τη πατήσετε σαν εμένα.
The size of it and the presence of physical buttons are very convenient. The PocketBook Cloud is also convenient. It syncs books with a mobile phone and a computer. You can also send books to the device (by email) very easily. It also has the option of adding an external memory card. In general, there will be no issue with transferring and storing files.
The screen needs care; it is not comparable in durability to the Gorilla Glass of phones. My first one had the screen crack with a very simple movement; I didn’t even notice. With the second one, I’m more careful.
Very economical as well. Personally, I recommend it without reservation.
Πολύ βολικό το μέγεθος του και η παρουσία φυσικών κουμπιών. Επίσης βολικό το pocketbook cloud. Συγχρονίζει βιβλία με κινητό και υπολογιστή. Μπορείς επίσης να στείλεις βιβλία στη συσκευή (σε μέιλ) πολύ εύκολα. Επίσης διαθέτει και δυνατότητα προσθήκης εξωτερικής κάρτας μνήμης. Γενικότερα δε θα υπάρχει θέμα με μεταφορά και αποθήκευση των αρχείων.
Θέλει προσοχή η οθόνη, δε συγκρίνεται σε ανθεκτικότητα με gorilla glass των κινητών. Το πρώτο μου ράγισε η οθόνη με μια πολύ απλή κίνηση, ούτε που κατάλαβα. Στο δεύτερο προσέχω παραπάνω.
Πολύ οικονομικό επίσης. Προσωπικά το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Very easy to read, extremely easy to use. It is naturally a bit "slow" when uploading files but it does its job more than well. If I were to buy again, I would choose the pro for the color function. The battery lasts for a very long time, especially if the lighting is set to automatic
Πολύ ξεκούραστο στην ανάγνωση, πανευκολο στη χρήση. Είναι φυσικά λίγο "αργό" στη μεταφόρτωση αρχείων αλλά τη δουλειά του την κάνει με το παραπάνω. Αν ξαναπαιρνα θα επέλεγα το pro για την έγχρωμη λειτουργία. Η μπαταρία κρατάει για πολύ μεγάλο διάστημα, ειδικά αν ο φωτισμός είναι στο αυτόματο
The best e-reader out there, Kobo and Kindle don't even compare in terms of quality and price. It supports all types of files and the battery lasts almost a month with daily reading. I have managed to read almost everything available in the electronic library of the national library. Do yourself a favor and set Koreader as the default for opening books, not the stock Pocketbook reader. It really makes an incredible difference in personalization and reading speed.
Οτι καλυτερο σε ereader, kobo, kindle δεν πιανουν μια στην σχεση ποιοτητας τιμης. Υποστηριζει οτι τυπο αρχειων υπαρχει και η μπαταρια κραταει σχεδον μηνα με καθημερινο διαβασμα. Εχω φτασει να διαβασω οτι σχεδον υπαρχει στο ηλ. αναγνωστηριο της εθνικης βιβλιοθηκης. Καντε μια χαρη ομως στον εαυτο σας και βαλτε του koreader σαν προεπιλογη για να ανοιγει βιβλια, οχι το στοκ pocketbook reader. Πραγματικα κανει απιστευτη διαφορα στην εξατομικευση και την ταχυτητα διαβασματος.

After 3-4 months of having and using this product, I can say that it is the best purchase I have made. If you read books obsessively, you definitely need it. Reading is very pleasant... it's not the same as on a phone; your eyes don't hurt no matter how many hours you spend reading... it saves you money and space from buying classic printed books... it's small, fits everywhere, lightweight, and the battery with continuous use is almost endless... it doesn't have a user-friendly browser, but there is Dropbox where you can easily download books from any device, and they appear on the pocketbook... prefer e-pub files and not pdf for better reading... I highly recommend it, and I haven't experienced any defects or freezes with the device!!!!

Αν διαβάζεις βιβλία μανιωδώς το χρειάζεσαι οπωσδήποτε.
Η ανάγνωση είναι πολύ ευχάριστη...δεν είναι το ίδιο με το κινητό δεν σε πονάνε τα μάτια όσες ώρες και αν περάσεις διαβάζοντας....σου εξοικονομεί χρήματα και χώρο από το να αγοράσεις κλασικά έντυπα βιβλία....είναι μικρό χωράει παντού ελαφρή και η μπαταρία με συνεχή χρήση είναι οριακά ατελείωτη......δεν έχει εύχρηστο περιηγητή αλλά υπάρχει το dropbox όπου πανευκολα κατεβάζεις βιβλία από οποιαδήποτε συσκευή και σου εμφανίζονται στο pocketbook.. προτίμησε αρχεία e-pub και όχι pdf για καλύτερη ανάγνωση..το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα και δεν μου έχει παρουσιάσει κανένα ελάττωμα η κόλλημα η συσκευή!!!!
A noteworthy device with a suitable size (I think). The buttons it has did not help me. The software is different from what we are used to (android - ios) and can seem cumbersome. However, it is absolutely honest and relatively fast, as long as you make your registrations in the various required (adobe id, pocketbook cloud, etc.). There are few free books available, and the library has some for borrowing. It works well only with epub. For simple pdfs (text only - simple page layout), you won't encounter many problems.
αξιόλογη συσκευή με κατάλληλο μέγεθος (νομίζω) . Τα κουμπιά που έχει δεν με βοήθησαν. Το λογισμικό είναι διαφορετικό απ' ότι έχουμε συνηθίσει (android - ios) και μπορεί να φανεί δύσχρηστο. είναι όμως απολύτως τίμιο και σχετικά γρήγορο, εφόσον κάνεις τις εγγραφές σου στα διάφορα απαιτούμενα (adobe id, pocketbook cloud, κτλ). Βιβλία δωρεάν υπάρχουν λίγα, και η ΕΒΕ έχει κάποια για δανεισμό. Δουλεύει καλά μόνο με epub. Στα απλά pdf (μόνο κείμενο- απλή διάταξη σελίδας) δεν θα αντιμετωπίσεις πολλά προβλήματα.
Excellent value for money, some friends got more expensive models and the only difference was in the speed of the menus. I stick with my choice.

Very comfortable reading, very good battery life. Finally, I can read whenever I want without bothering anyone and comfortably. In some screen transitions, like selecting a book, etc., there is a delay of a few seconds, but it's tolerable. The size of the screen is just right... A year and more later, I have enjoyed it so much. Time savings, money savings, comfort, autonomy. Get it with your eyes closed.

Πολύ βολικό το μέγεθος του και η παρουσία φυσικών κουμπιών. Επίσης βολικό το pocketbook cloud. Συγχρονίζει βιβλία με κινητό και υπολογιστή. Μπορείς επίσης να στείλεις βιβλία στη συσκευή (σε μέιλ) πολύ εύκολα. Επίσης διαθέτει και δυνατότητα προσθήκης εξωτερικής κάρτας μνήμης. Γενικότερα δε θα υπάρχει θέμα με μεταφορά και αποθήκευση των αρχείων.
Θέλει προσοχή η οθόνη, δε συγκρίνεται σε ανθεκτικότητα με gorilla glass των κινητών. Το πρώτο μου ράγισε η οθόνη με μια πολύ απλή κίνηση, ούτε που κατάλαβα. Στο δεύτερο προσέχω παραπάνω.
Πολύ οικονομικό επίσης. Προσωπικά το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Είναι ότι καλύτερο ακόμα πιο ωραίο και από kobo και από το kindle επίσης έχει κουμπάκια που ενώ δεν σου φαίνεται ότι θα χρειαστούν είναι φουλ χρήσιμα και μπορείς να κάνεις upload ότι βιβλίο θες αν έχεις το αρχείο από τηλέφωνο κτλ. Ακόμη έχεις και την δυνατότητα να παίζεις παιχνίδια όπως σκάκι και sudoku

Nice ereader, fair for its price and a good first choice for those thinking of buying such a device for the first time. It may have low resolution in its specs but personally I haven't had any issues so far with images where this would be noticeable. It definitely needs a case and care like all ereaders because this type of screen is particularly sensitive. The feature to upload epub books to Dropbox and sync the ereader with Dropbox is very nice and useful. 4 stars because I don't know what the situation is with spare parts or how easy it is to repair.
Ωραίο ereader, τίμιο για τα χρήματα του και καλή πρώτη επιλογή για όσους σκέφτονται να αγοράσουν πρώτη φορά τέτοια συσκευή. Μπορεί να έχει χαμηλή ανάλυση στα χαρακτηριστικά του αλλά προσωπικά δεν είχα μέχρι τώρα θέμα με τις εικόνες που θα φαινόταν κάτι τέτοιο. Θέλει σίγουρα θήκη και προσοχή όπως όλα τα ereader γιατί αυτός ο τύπος οθόνης είναι ιδιαίτερα ευαίσθητος. Η λειτουργία να ανεβάζεις βιβλία epub στο Dropbox και να συγχρονίζεις ereader με Dropbox πολυ ωραία και χρήσιμη. 4 αστέρια γιατί δεν ξέρω τι παίζει με ανταλλακτικά ή πόσο εύκολο είναι να επισκευαστεί.
I ordered 2 as gifts, after about 2 months of use the first and one and a half months the second, the screens broke. On the first one, about 1/3 of the screen at the top left and center is stuck on the default lock screen and the rest of the screen works normally, for the second one see the photo.
The first one broke one night while it was resting on a nightstand, the second one during reading.
Παρειγγηλα 2 σαν δώρο, μετά από περίπου 2 μήνες χρήση το πρώτο και ενάμισι μήνα το δεύτερο χαλασαν οι οθόνες. Στο πρώτο, το 1/3 περίπου της οθόνης πάνω αριστερά και κέντρο είναι στην default οθόνη κλειδώματος και η υπόλοιπη οθόνη δουλεύει κανονικά, στο δεύτερο δείτε την φωτογραφία.
Το πρώτο χάλασε ένα βράδυ ενώ ήταν ακουμπημενο σε κομοδίνο, το δεύτερο εν ώρα διαβάσματος.
