The 10 Gemma tulip bulbs bloom in spring, about three months after planting. They can be planted in garden beds or in pots on the balcony.
Plant them in autumn in a cool, sunny spot, in general-purpose soil with good drainage. Place them with the tips pointing upwards, 8–10 cm deep and 10–20 cm apart. Water once a week when planting and more often as they begin to grow, depending on the temperature. After flowering, the bulbs can be removed, dried and stored in a cool, dark place until the next autumn planting.
