The Eiger PP-ION-CTO-05 replacement water filter is part of a 3-stage filtration system for under-sink units. The polypropylene filter traps sediment, sand, rust and suspended particles, while the ION stage reduces water hardness by retaining calcium and magnesium salts. The CTO solid carbon block filter removes chlorine, odors and unpleasant tastes.

The package contains three filters. Replacement is recommended every 6 months, or depending on water quality and consumption. The degree of softening depends on the water’s initial hardness.
