The machine was tested on 5-day old and very tough beards. It did well without many passes! These machines are not really meant for beards of that length, but it still did a good job cutting them! When I shave them now (they grow fast and are very tough) every 2 days, I believe the result will be great! The closeness of the shave was what I wanted (of course, it doesn't compare to a Gillette razor and against the grain shaving)!
As a shaver, it glides very nicely and softly on the skin and you don't feel like it's sticking... and struggling with movements...! This is due partly to the machine, and partly to the wet shaving I do! Absolutely no irritation.
I gave it 4 stars because the head is detachable, not with a button/spring, and I'm a bit afraid it might break. In another Chinese one I had, the attachment was magnetic and easier!
Overall, I am quite satisfied with the purchase and time will tell its durability! I would recommend it for purchase because it is cheap and good compared to the competition that has more expensive models.
Ειχα παλιά μία ξυριστική xiaomi και ήμουν αρκετά ικανοποιημένος! Εγώ ήθελα μία Phillips να παρω, αλλά είναι κατα πολύ ακριβότερες και τα χρήματα δεν έφταναν. Ετσι αρκέστηκα σε αυτή, που τουλάχιστον είναι κάπως επώνυμη!
Η μηχανή δοκιμάστηκε σε γένια 5 ημερών και πολύ σκληρά. Τα κατάφερε καλά χωρίς πολλά περάσματα! Οι μηχανές αυτές δεν είναι και για γένια τόσων ημερών, και πάλι καλά τα πήγε στο κόψιμο! Οταν θα τα κόβω πλέον (μεγαλώνουν γρήγορα και είναι πολύ σκληρά) ανά 2 μέρες πιστεύω το αποτέλεσμα θα είναι μία και έξω! Το βάθος ξυρίσματος ήταν αυτό που ήθελα (βέβαια δεν συγκρίνεται με ξυραφάκι Gillette και κόντρα ξύρισμα)!
Σαν ξυριστική γλυστράει πολύ ωραία και μαλακά στο δέρμα και δεν έχεις την αίσθηση ότι κολλάει... και να ζορίζεσαι στις κινήσεις...! Αυτό βέβαια οφείλεται αφενός στην μηχανή, και αφετέρου στο υγρό ξύρισμα που κάνω! Από ερεθισμό τίποτα απολύτως!
Τα 4 αστέρια τα έβαλα, διότι η κεφαλή είναι κουμπωτή, και όχι με κουμπί/ ελατήριο και ψιλό φοβάμαι μην τυχόν μου σπάσει.
Σε μία άλλη κινέζικη που είχα το κούμπωμα ήταν μαγνητικό και ευκολότερο!
