The Levin catheter is a disposable, sterile, radiopaque, open-ended catheter made of medical-grade PVC. Its end is open, rounded, and non-traumatic. It is radiopaque along its entire length. Its lateral holes are smooth and rounded to prevent injury and do not kink.

Its length is 125 cm, with distances marked at 46 cm, 55 cm, 66 cm, and 76 cm. The connector is color-coded according to the size of the catheter, following international standards. It is sterilized with ethylene oxide (EO) and packaged in a safe peel pack.
