Purchased December 24, Production 28th week of 2024 (somewhere in July) suffers from peeling coating parts from the boiler. Google: Gaggia Classic Boilergate. One year later, in Greece we are still selling the defective models.
GAGGIA is also to blame, which for the 23 model (known problematic), and the 2 of 24 (the first in some countries went WITHOUT coating and the E24 that was recently released with a brass boiler) uses the same model code (R19481).
But also the Greek distributor who renamed it V24 to make you think it is the E24 while in reality it is the defective model with the peeling boiler). Not even the model that went to "serious" countries, with an aluminum boiler without coating as a middle solution. No. In Greece, they sell whatever cannot be sold abroad, and they tell you to give 450 euros and then go figure it out.
When the E24 model is released in Greece, it might be worth looking at Gaggia Classic, until then stay away

Unfortunately, my classic pro developed a problem with the metal of the portafilter and the brew group. So it will be thrown away since the warranty has expired.
Δυστυχώς η δικιά μου classic pro έβγαλε πρόβλημα στο μέταλλο του portafilter και του brew group. Οπότε θα πάει πέταμα μιας και η εγγύηση έχει λήξει.
With the (new Classic Evo Pro) the problem has been fixed and there is no issue at all!

I made the purchase on 03/02/2023 and after a few days, I read about the issue that the entire "Boilergate" series has. I checked to see if it was happening to me as well, and unfortunately, the inner coating in the boiler is peeling off and falling into the coffee.
The problem is recognized by Gaggia with a relevant announcement they have made, as well as by Eurogat, which is the official service in Greece.
Honestly, don't bother buying it. I was lucky enough to get my money back.

Πραγματικά μην κάνετε το κόπο να την αγοράσετε, ήμουν απο τους τυχερούς και πήρα τα λεφτά μου πίσω.

Ολοκαίνουρια μηχανή και βγάζει με το νερό σωματίδια από το boiler της. Μακριά από το συγκεκριμένο μοντέλο.
Update 8-03-24. After many times of using the machine with blind and steam and high pressure, I cleaned it with the company's liquid and it doesn't produce anything. I tested it for a while and the water comes out clean, obviously I am one of the lucky ones.
Spring at 9 BAR, blind portafilter and flow regulator on the pump and you're ready, if you feel like upgrading to PID it's good but even without PID you learn the machine and it makes great coffee, all for 380.
Now the water doesn't come into contact with the aluminum anymore, but I don't know how good the new coating that Grandma put on is. Just trust it and I have given it a star.
Looking for the boilergate mentioned by the friend below, I was very disappointed. I tried mine and it didn't come out, but keep in mind that I haven't worked with steam yet or cleaned it. Once again, the Italians have fooled us, too bad because I trusted them. I'm going to Eurogat to give it back to them as it is and I'm going for a Silvia.
Ενημέρωση 8-03-24.Έπειτα απο πολάκις καταπόνηση της μηχανης και με τυφλό και με ατμό και μεγάλες πιέσης έκανα καθαρισμό με το υγρό της εταιρείας και δεν βγάζει τίποτα την δοκίμασα για αρκετό καιρό και δεν μου βγάζει σωματίδια το νερό βγαίνει καθαρό, προφανώς είμαι απο τους τυχερούς.
Ελατήριο στα 9 BAR, τυφλό portafilter και ροοστάτη στην αντλία και είσαι έτοιμος , εάν έχεις όρεξη για PID καλή αναβάθμιση αλλά και χωρίς PID μαθαίνεις την μηχανή και σου βγάζει τρομερό καφε και όλα αυτα με 380.
Πλέον δεν έχει και το νερό επαφή με το αλουμίνιο αλλά δεν γνωρίζω κατα πόσο καλή είναι η νέα επικάλυψη που έχει βάλει η Γιαγιά, Απλά πάμε με εμπιστοσύνη για αυτό και έχω βγάλει ένα αστέρι.
Ψάχννοντας το boilergate που αναφέρει ο φίλος πιο κάτω ξενέρωσα άσχημα, δοκίμασα την δική μου και δεν έβγαλε αλλά υπόψιν ότι ακόμη δεν έχω δουλέψει ατμό ούτε την έχω καθαρίσει, οι Ιταλοί για ακόμη μία φορά μας την έκατσαν , κρίμα γιατί τους εμπιστεύτικα, πάω Eurogat να τους την δώσω κούτα όπως την έχω και πάω για silvia.

I got it after a lot of research comparing automatic and non-automatic ones. I ended up with this one because of its ability to experiment with the times and make the coffee you want. From the first coffee, it made it much better than outside (I compare it with coffee island the same variety) and without having experience in making espresso. The reviews that said that in this price range it is considered one of the best choices were not wrong. I combined it with the Sage The Smart Grinder pro with a setting at 6 and it made an excellent espresso by choosing a double dose. It was so strong with rich body and aroma that it needed dilution. If you have doubts about whether a manual one is a hassle, believe me, this one is not. Finally, the difference with the previous generation is that non-carcinogenic materials are used for the health of the workers during its construction and premium portafilter.
P.S. Sometimes you need to hold the push button for ~1 second and not less for the light to turn on and the board to be powered. It is not defective if it does this to you, I returned it to the official representative and they told me that it works as expected. And indeed, after 2 months I have no issues with it.

Την πήρα μετά από πολύ ψάξιμο συγκρίνοντας αυτόματες και μη. Κατέληξα σε αυτήν λόγω της δυνατότητας που έχει να πειραματιστείς με τους χρόνους και να βγάλεις τον καφέ που θέλεις. Ήδη από τον πρώτο καφέ τον έκανε πολύ ανώτερο από έξω (συγκρίνω με coffee island ίδια ποικιλία) και χωρις να έχω εμπειρία με την παρασκευη εσπρέσο. Δεν έπεσαν έξω τα reviews που έλεγαν ότι σε αυτό το εύρος τιμών θεωρείται μια από τις καλύτερες επιλογές. Την συνδύασα και με το Sage The Smart Grinder pro με ρύθμιση στο 6 και έβγαλε υπέρ τέλειο φρεντο επιλέγοντας διπλή δόση. Δηλαδή ήταν τόσο δυνατός με πλούσιο σώμα και άρωμα που ήθελε αραίωση. Αν έχετε αμφιβολίες για το αν είναι μπελάς μια χειροκίνητη, πιστέψτε με δεν είναι η συγκεκριμένη. Τέλος, η διαφορά με την προηγούμενη γενιά είναι ότι εσωτερικά χρησιμοποιούνται μη καρκινογόνα για την υγεία των εργαζόμενων υλικά κατά την κατασκευή της και premium portafilter.
Υ.Γ. Κάποιες φορές χρειάζεται να κρατήσετε ~ 1 δευτερόλεπτο το push button και όχι λιγότερο για να ανάψει η λυχνία και να τροφοδοτηθεί με ρεύμα η πλακέτα. Δεν είναι ελαττωματική αν σας το κάνει, την επέστρεψα στην επίσημη αντιπροσωπία και μου είπαν ότι works as expected. Και όντως μετά από 2 μήνες δεν έχω κανένα θέμα με αυτό.

Δεν έπεσαν έξω τα reviews που έλεγαν ότι σε αυτό το εύρος τιμών θεωρείται μια από τις καλύτερες επιλογές. Την συνδύασα και με το Sage The Smart Grinder pro με ρύθμιση στο 6 και έβγαλε υπέρ τέλειο φρεντο επιλέγοντας διπλή δόση. Δηλαδή ήταν τόσο δυνατός με πλούσιο σώμα και άρωμα που ήθελε αραίωση. Αν έχετε αμφιβολίες για το αν είναι μπελάς μια χειροκίνητη, πιστέψτε με δεν είναι η συγκεκριμένη. Τέλος, η διαφορά με την προηγούμενη γενιά είναι ότι εσωτερικά χρησιμοποιούνται μη καρκινογόνα για την υγεία των εργαζόμενων υλικά κατά την κατασκευή της και premium portafilter.
Υ.Γ. Κάποιες φορές χρειάζεται να κρατήσετε ~ 1 δευτερόλεπτο το push button και όχι λιγότερο για να ανάψει η λυχνία και να τροφοδοτηθεί με ρεύμα η πλακέτα. Δεν είναι ελαττωματική αν σας το κάνει, την επέστρεψα στην επίσημη αντιπροσωπία και μου είπαν ότι works as expected. Και όντως μετά από 2 μήνες δεν έχω κανένα θέμα με αυτό.

FAR AWAY (if I could give 0 stars, I would)
Purchased December 24, Production 28th week of 2024 (somewhere in July) suffers from peeling coating parts from the boiler. Google: Gaggia Classic Boilergate. One year later, in Greece we are still selling the defective models.
GAGGIA is also to blame, which for the 23 model (known problematic), and the 2 of 24 (the first in some countries went WITHOUT coating and the E24 that was recently released with a brass boiler) uses the same model code (R19481).
But also the Greek distributor who renamed it V24 to make you think it is the E24 while in reality it is the defective model with the peeling boiler). Not even the model that went to "serious" countries, with an aluminum boiler without coating as a middle solution. No. In Greece, they sell whatever cannot be sold abroad, and they tell you to give 450 euros and then go figure it out.
When the E24 model is released in Greece, it might be worth looking at Gaggia Classic, until then stay away

Αγορα Δεκεμβριο 24, Παραγωγη 28η εβδομαδα του 2024 (καπου στον Ιουλιο) πασχει απο αποκολληση τμηματων επιστρωσης απο το μποιλερ. Google: Gaggia Classic Boilergate . Ενα χρονο μετα, στην Ελλαδα ακομα πουλαμε τα σκαρτα μοντελα.
Φταιει και η GAGGIA η οποια για το μοντελο του 23 (γνωστο προβληματικο), και τα 2 του 24 (το πρωτο σε καποιες χωρες πηγε ΧΩΡΙΣ επιστρωση και το Ε24 που κυκλοφορησε προσφατα με ορειχαλκινο boiler) χρησιμοποιει τον ιδιο κωδικο μοντελου (R19481)
Αλλα και η Ελληνικη αντιπροσωπεια που το βαφτισε V24 για να νομιζεις οτι ειναι το E24 ενω στη πραγματικοτητα ειναι το ελλατωματικο μοντελο με το boiler που ξεφλουδιζει). Ουτε καν το μοντελο που πηγε σε "σοβαρες" χωρες, με αλουμινενιο boiler χωρις επιστρωση ως μεση λυση. Οχι. Στην Ελλαδα πουλανε οτι δε μπορει να πουληθει εξω, και σου λεει δωσε 450 ευρω και μετα τρεχα βρες ακρη.
Οταν κυκλοφορησει Ελλαδα το Ε24 μοντελο ισως αξιζει να κοιταξετε Gaggia Classic, μεχρι τοτε μακρυα
Unfortunately, my classic pro developed a problem with the metal of the portafilter and the brew group. So it will be thrown away since the warranty has expired.
Δυστυχώς η δικιά μου classic pro έβγαλε πρόβλημα στο μέταλλο του portafilter και του brew group. Οπότε θα πάει πέταμα μιας και η εγγύηση έχει λήξει.
With the (new Classic Evo Pro) the problem has been fixed and there is no issue at all!

I made the purchase on 03/02/2023 and after a few days, I read about the issue that the entire "Boilergate" series has. I checked to see if it was happening to me as well, and unfortunately, the inner coating in the boiler is peeling off and falling into the coffee.
The problem is recognized by Gaggia with a relevant announcement they have made, as well as by Eurogat, which is the official service in Greece.
Honestly, don't bother buying it. I was lucky enough to get my money back.
Αγορά στις 03/02/2023 μετα απο λίγες μέρες διαβαζώ το πρόβλημα που έχει όλη η συγκεκριμένη σειρά "Boilergate". Τσεκάρω να δω αν γίνεται κ σε εμένα κ δυστυχώς η εσωτερική επίστρωση στο μπόιλερ ξεφλουδίζει και πέφτει στον καφέ.
Το πρόβλημα ειναι αναγνωρισμένο και απο την Gaggia με σχετική ανακοίνωση που έχει κάνει αλλα και με την Eurogat που ειναι το επίσημο service στην Ελλάδα.
Πραγματικά μην κάνετε το κόπο να την αγοράσετε, ήμουν απο τους τυχερούς και πήρα τα λεφτά μου πίσω.
