The noise it makes from the ear caps drove me crazy for the very expensive HJC intercom.
Also, the interior is very poorly sewn and the internal visor did not rise easily; I had to spray some lubricant on the mechanisms to soften it a bit.
(I also bought the F 71 for my girlfriend, and that one is much better quality in every way.)
It pressed down on the back of my neck to the point where my whole head went numb. (A second person tried it and said the same.)
I had an HJC that cost 250 euros, and it was 20 times better than this.
I will buy the GT Air 3; I hope it is better.

Το κράτησα λιγότερο από ένα χρόνο.
Ο θόρυβος που βγάζει από τα καπάκια κάτω από τα αυτιά για την πανάκριβη ενδοεπικοινωνια της hjc με τρέλανε.
Επίσης το εσωτερικό είναι πολύ κακοραμμένο και η εσωτερική ζελατινα δεν ανέβαινε εύκολα, αναγκάστηκα να ρίξω σπρέι μέσα στις ντιζες για να μαλακώσει λιγο.
(Αγόρασα και το f 71 για την κοπέλα μου και εκείνο ειναι πολύ καλύτερο ποιοτικά σε ολα)
Με πατούσε πισω χαμηλά στον αυχένα σε σημείο να μουδιαζει όλο το κεφάλι μου. (Το δοκίμασε και δεύτερο άτομο και είπε το ιδιο)
Είχα hjc των 250 ευρώ και ήταν 20 φορες καλύτερο από αυτό.
Θα αγοράσω το gt air 3, ελπίζω να ειναι καλύτερο.
I really didn't expect such poor quality from HJC. In this price range, such noise cannot be justified in a closed helmet. We are talking even for use with a scooter at low speeds. Yes, it has good build quality and the visor is very convenient, but the noise is unbearable. Don't waste your money, it's a shame

Σε αυτή την κατηγορία χρημάτων,σε κλειστό κράνος δεν μπορεί να δικαιολογηθεί τέτοιος θόρυβος.
Μιλάμε ακόμα και για χρήση με Scooter σε χαμηλές ταχύτητες.
Ναι μεν έχει ποιότητα κατασκευής και το Visor βολεύει πάρα πολύ,αλλά ο θόρυβος δεν παλεύεται.
Μην πετάξετε τα λεφτά σας είναι κρίμα
The helmet is very good, it fits perfectly on my head, it feels like I'm in my living room (very comfortable), very good quality materials, very good ventilation, quite aerodynamic, large field of vision.
BUT, while the helmet seems to be very quiet in terms of sound insulation, I noticed that even at low speeds of 30+ km/h, there are incredible swirls in the ears!
There is no air leakage from any vent or from the visor, there is no problem, that's how it is designed. It has two low caps on the right and left that open for the intercom system, which is made for this helmet, but even from those caps, noise goes directly into the ears. If I put my hands on the holes, I can't hear anything and the helmet is completely quiet. I read on Reddit that others had this problem and they put tapes on the holes and other solutions.
I reached the point of considering returning the helmet to the store where I bought it because besides the noise, I noticed that the visor doesn't lock when you put the pinlock on, it can be seen in the photo. The factory pinlock, which comes in the box with the helmet!
The helmet has a mechanism where the visor closes, locks, and has something like a lock that you have to press a button to open. The visor doesn't lock with the pinlock on.
In the end, the store sent me to the dealership where they told me that the noise issue is due to my riding position and that HJC never makes mistakes, etc., and as for the visor, they kept the helmet for a few days, tried other pinlocks, tried other visors, and saw that it's exactly the same with the other RPHA 71 helmets, and they simply told me to go and take it back as it is and that they sent an email to HJC and will send me an email when they have a response. Meanwhile, I also sent an email to HJC Europe and waited a week and a half for a response, trying to see if they can find a solution.
I'm crying my money on a touring helmet where above 80 km/h it feels like an airplane taking off in your ears.
Edit: HJC Europe told me to send the helmet to France for inspection, but I didn't want to go through the process.
The dealership in Greece still hasn't given me any answer regarding the visor lock.
Το κρανος ειναι πολυ καλο, ταιριαζει τελεια στο κεφαλι μου, μεσα ειναι λες και βρισκομαι στο σαλονι μου (πολυ ανετο), πολυ καλη ποιοτητα υλικων, πολυ καλοι αεραγωγοι, αρκετα καλη αεροδυναμικη, μεγαλο οπτικο πεδιο.
ΑΛΛΑ, ενω το κρανος φαινεται να ειναι πολυ ησυχο απο θεμα ηχομονωσης παρατηρησα οτι ακομη και απο μικρες ταχυτητες πολης 30+χλμ ξεκινανε απιστευτοι στροβιλισμοι στα αυτια!
Δεν μπαζει αερα απο καποιον αεραγωγο ή απ το visor, δεν εχει καποιο προβλημα, ετσι ειναι κατασκευαστικα. Εχει δεξια και αεριστερα χαμηλα 2 καπακια τα οποια ανοιγουν για να μπει η ενδοεπικοινωνια που ειναι φτιαγμενη για αυτο το κρανος, παρολα αυτα απο εκεινα τα καπακια φερνει θορυβο απευθειας στα αυτια, αν βαλω τα χερια μου στις τρυπες δεν ακουγεται τιποτα και το κρανος ειναι απολυτα ησυχο. Διαβασα στο Reddit οτι και αλλοι ειχαν αυτο το προβλημα και εβαζαν ταινιες στις τρυπες και αλλες πατεντες.
Εφτασα σε σημειο να παω το κρανος πισω στο καταστημα που το αγορασα γιατι περα απ τον ηχο παρατηρησα οτι το visor δεν κλειδωνει οταν βαλεις το pinlock πανω, φαινεται και στη φωτο. Το εργοστασιακο pinlock, το οποιο ερχεται στο κουτι με το κρανος!
Το κρανος εχει μηχανισμο οπου κλεινει το visor, κουμπωνει και εχει κατι σαν κλειδωμα οπου πρεπει να πατησεις ενα κουμπακι μετα για να ανοιξει. Το visor δεν φτανει να κλειδωσει στο κλειδωμα με το pinlock πανω.
Εν τελει απ το καταστημα με εστειλαν στην αντιπροσωπεια οπου για το θεμα του θορυβου μου ειπαν οτι φταιει η θεση οδηγησης μου και οτι η HJC δεν κανει ποτε λαθος κλπ κλπ και οσο για το visor, κρατησαν το κρανος μερικες μερες, δοκιμασαν κι αλλα pinlock, κι αλλα visor και ειδαν οτι γινεται ακριβως το ιδιο και στα αλλα RPHA 71 και μου ειπαν απλα να παω και να το παρω πισω οπως ειναι και οτι εστειλαν email στην HJC και οταν εχουν απαντηση θα στειλουν σε εμενα email. Εντομεταξυ εχω στειλει κι εγω email στην HJC Ευρωπης και περιμενα μιαμιση βδομαδα για απαντηση και προσπαθω να δω μηπως βρουν εκεινοι καμια λυση.
Κλαιω τα λεφτα μου σε ενα touring κρανος οπου πανω απ τα 80χλμ ειναι λες και απογειωνεται αεροπλανο στα αυτια σου.
Edit: Η HJC Ευρωπης μου ειπε να στειλω το κρανος στην Γαλλια για ελεγχο αλλα δεν ηθελα να μπω στην διαδικασια.
Η αντιπροσωπεια στην Ελλαδα ακομη δεν μου εδωσε καμια απαντηση σχετικα με το κουμπωμα του visor.
Average to good aerodynamics, the fastening of the visor is a bit difficult but it easily unfastens with a finger, I just don't know how long it will hold up.
Very good ventilation, good build quality, and the tinted glass for the sun is perfect. What made me regret spending my money was the noise from the air coming in from the chin and at low speeds.

πολύ καλός εξαερισμός,καλή ποιότητα κατασκευής και πολύ καλό το φιμε τζαμί για τον ήλιο είναι όλα τέλεια αυτό που με έκανε να κλάψω τα λεφτά μου ήταν ο θόρυβος από τον αέρα ο οποίος εσρχοτανε από το σαγόνι και από χαμηλές ταχύτητες.
Excellent and high-quality helmet. Very good ventilation. It comes with a free anti-fog visor. I use it on a scooter with a fairing, mainly within the city but occasionally on the Attiki Odos highway. It is quiet compared to the rpha11 that I had before, which lasted me 7 years, but from speeds of 100+ there is a moderate noise at normal levels, which may be due to removing the ear slots for intercom. The only negative is its weight. Due to the new ECE 22.06 specifications for increased safety, the weight has increased. Also, the sun visor and the internal mechanism of the helmet slightly add to the weight. In size large, the weight is 1600g. Also, the visor requires a little getting used to when opening and closing. The mechanism has strong teeth, keeping the visor open at higher speeds, but it requires some practice to handle it. My brother has the Shoei GT Air 2 in medium, which weighs 1500g. So, the differences are small. It also has a slot for intercom. I had the Interphone F5MC, which does not fit the new helmet, so I bought the HJC Sena 21B, which is compatible.
Also, I should mention that when measuring my head, it is for a medium size. The Shoei GT Air 2 that I tried on fit perfectly, but the HJC RPHA71 is tight around the temples, so I went for a large size. So, keep in mind that you may need a larger size.

Αθόρυβο σε σχέση με το rpha11 που είχα πριν και με έβγαλε 7 χρόνια αλλά από τα 100+ ξεκινάει ένας μέτριος θόρυβος σε νορμάλ επίπεδα, σε αυτό μπορεί να φταίει ότι του έβγαλα τις υποδοχές στα αυτιά για την ενδοεπικοινωνία. Το μόνο αρνητικό είναι το βάρος του. Λόγω των καινούριων προδιαγραφών ece 22.06 για μεγαλύτερη ασφάλεια αυξήθηκε το βάρος. Επίσης λόγω των γυαλιών ηλίου και του μηχανισμού του εσωτερικά του κράνους αυξάνουν λίγο το βάρος. Σε large το βάρος είναι 1600γρ. Επίσης θέλει λίγο συνήθεια η ζελατίνα του στο άνοιξε κλείσε. Έχει σκληρά δόντια ο μηχανισμός, κρατάει την ζελατίνα ανοιχτή σε πιο ψηλές ταχύτητες, αλλά θέλει λίγο τρόπο η μεταχείριση της. Το shoei gt air 2 που έχει ο αδερφός μου σε medium είναι 1500γρ. Άρα μικρές οι διαφορές. Επίσης έχει υποδοχή για ενδοεπικοινωνια. Είχα της interphone το f5mc το οποίο δεν κουμπώνει στο καινούριο και επειδή την χρειάζομαι, αγόρασα της hjc sena 21b που είναι συμβατό.

I kept it for less than a year.
The noise it makes from the ear caps drove me crazy for the very expensive HJC intercom.
Also, the interior is very poorly sewn and the internal visor did not rise easily; I had to spray some lubricant on the mechanisms to soften it a bit.
(I also bought the F 71 for my girlfriend, and that one is much better quality in every way.)
It pressed down on the back of my neck to the point where my whole head went numb. (A second person tried it and said the same.)
I had an HJC that cost 250 euros, and it was 20 times better than this.
I will buy the GT Air 3; I hope it is better.

Το κράτησα λιγότερο από ένα χρόνο.
Ο θόρυβος που βγάζει από τα καπάκια κάτω από τα αυτιά για την πανάκριβη ενδοεπικοινωνια της hjc με τρέλανε.
Επίσης το εσωτερικό είναι πολύ κακοραμμένο και η εσωτερική ζελατινα δεν ανέβαινε εύκολα, αναγκάστηκα να ρίξω σπρέι μέσα στις ντιζες για να μαλακώσει λιγο.
(Αγόρασα και το f 71 για την κοπέλα μου και εκείνο ειναι πολύ καλύτερο ποιοτικά σε ολα)
Με πατούσε πισω χαμηλά στον αυχένα σε σημείο να μουδιαζει όλο το κεφάλι μου. (Το δοκίμασε και δεύτερο άτομο και είπε το ιδιο)
Είχα hjc των 250 ευρώ και ήταν 20 φορες καλύτερο από αυτό.
Θα αγοράσω το gt air 3, ελπίζω να ειναι καλύτερο.
I really didn't expect such poor quality from HJC. In this price range, such noise cannot be justified in a closed helmet. We are talking even for use with a scooter at low speeds. Σε αυτή την κατηγορία χρημάτων,σε κλειστό κράνος δεν μπορεί να δικαιολογηθεί τέτοιος θόρυβος.
Μιλάμε ακόμα και για χρήση με Scooter σε χαμηλές ταχύτητες.
Ναι μεν έχει ποιότητα κατασκευής και το Visor βολεύει πάρα πολύ,αλλά ο θόρυβος δεν παλεύεται.
Μην πετάξετε τα λεφτά σας είναι κρίμα
The helmet is very good, it fits perfectly on my head, it feels like I'm in my living room (very comfortable), very good quality materials, very good ventilation, quite aerodynamic, large field of vision.
BUT, while the helmet seems to be very quiet in terms of sound insulation, I noticed that even at low speeds of 30+ km/h, there are incredible swirls in the ears!
There is no air leakage from any vent or from the visor, there is no problem, that's how it is designed. It has two low caps on the right and left that open for the intercom system, which is made for this helmet, but even from those caps, noise goes directly into the ears. If I put my hands on the holes, I can't hear anything and the helmet is completely quiet. I read on Reddit that others had this problem and they put tapes on the holes and other solutions.
I reached the point of considering returning the helmet to the store where I bought it because besides the noise, I noticed that the visor doesn't lock when you put the pinlock on, it can be seen in the photo. The factory pinlock, which comes in the box with the helmet!
The helmet has a mechanism where the visor closes, locks, and has something like a lock that you have to press a button to open. The visor doesn't lock with the pinlock on.
In the end, the store sent me to the dealership where they told me that the noise issue is due to my riding position and that HJC never makes mistakes, etc., and as for the visor, they kept the helmet for a few days, tried other pinlocks, tried other visors, and saw that it's exactly the same with the other RPHA 71 helmets, and they simply told me to go and take it back as it is and that they sent an email to HJC and will send me an email when they have a response. Meanwhile, I also sent an email to HJC Europe and waited a week and a half for a response, trying to see if they can find a solution.
I'm crying my money on a touring helmet where above 80 km/h it feels like an airplane taking off in your ears.
Edit: HJC Europe told me to send the helmet to France for inspection, but I didn't want to go through the process.
The dealership in Greece still hasn't given me any answer regarding the visor lock.
Το κρανος ειναι πολυ καλο, ταιριαζει τελεια στο κεφαλι μου, μεσα ειναι λες και βρισκομαι στο σαλονι μου (πολυ ανετο), πολυ καλη ποιοτητα υλικων, πολυ καλοι αεραγωγοι, αρκετα καλη αεροδυναμικη, μεγαλο οπτικο πεδιο.
ΑΛΛΑ, ενω το κρανος φαινεται να ειναι πολυ ησυχο απο θεμα ηχομονωσης παρατηρησα οτι ακομη και απο μικρες ταχυτητες πολης 30+χλμ ξεκινανε απιστευτοι στροβιλισμοι στα αυτια!
Δεν μπαζει αερα απο καποιον αεραγωγο ή απ το visor, δεν εχει καποιο προβλημα, ετσι ειναι κατασκευαστικα. Εχει δεξια και αεριστερα χαμηλα 2 καπακια τα οποια ανοιγουν για να μπει η ενδοεπικοινωνια που ειναι φτιαγμενη για αυτο το κρανος, παρολα αυτα απο εκεινα τα καπακια φερνει θορυβο απευθειας στα αυτια, αν βαλω τα χερια μου στις τρυπες δεν ακουγεται τιποτα και το κρανος ειναι απολυτα ησυχο. Διαβασα στο Reddit οτι και αλλοι ειχαν αυτο το προβλημα και εβαζαν ταινιες στις τρυπες και αλλες πατεντες.
Εφτασα σε σημειο να παω το κρανος πισω στο καταστημα που το αγορασα γιατι περα απ τον ηχο παρατηρησα οτι το visor δεν κλειδωνει οταν βαλεις το pinlock πανω, φαινεται και στη φωτο. Το εργοστασιακο pinlock, το οποιο ερχεται στο κουτι με το κρανος!
Το κρανος εχει μηχανισμο οπου κλεινει το visor, κουμπωνει και εχει κατι σαν κλειδωμα οπου πρεπει να πατησεις ενα κουμπακι μετα για να ανοιξει. Το visor δεν φτανει να κλειδωσει στο κλειδωμα με το pinlock πανω.
Εν τελει απ το καταστημα με εστειλαν στην αντιπροσωπεια οπου για το θεμα του θορυβου μου ειπαν οτι φταιει η θεση οδηγησης μου και οτι η HJC δεν κανει ποτε λαθος κλπ κλπ και οσο για το visor, κρατησαν το κρανος μερικες μερες, δοκιμασαν κι αλλα pinlock, κι αλλα visor και ειδαν οτι γινεται ακριβως το ιδιο και στα αλλα RPHA 71 και μου ειπαν απλα να παω και να το παρω πισω οπως ειναι και οτι εστειλαν email στην HJC και οταν εχουν απαντηση θα στειλουν σε εμενα email. Εντομεταξυ εχω στειλει κι εγω email στην HJC Ευρωπης και περιμενα μιαμιση βδομαδα για απαντηση και προσπαθω να δω μηπως βρουν εκεινοι καμια λυση.
Κλαιω τα λεφτα μου σε ενα touring κρανος οπου πανω απ τα 80χλμ ειναι λες και απογειωνεται αεροπλανο στα αυτια σου.
Edit: Η HJC Ευρωπης μου ειπε να στειλω το κρανος στην Γαλλια για ελεγχο αλλα δεν ηθελα να μπω στην διαδικασια.
Η αντιπροσωπεια στην Ελλαδα ακομη δεν μου εδωσε καμια απαντηση σχετικα με το κουμπωμα του visor.
Average to good aerodynamics, the fastening of the visor is a bit difficult but it easily unfastens with a finger, I just don't know how long it will hold up.
Very good ventilation, good build quality, and the tinted glass for the sun is perfect. What made me regret spending my money was the noise from the air coming in from the chin and at low speeds.

πολύ καλός εξαερισμός,καλή ποιότητα κατασκευής και πολύ καλό το φιμε τζαμί για τον ήλιο είναι όλα τέλεια αυτό που με έκανε να κλάψω τα λεφτά μου ήταν ο θόρυβος από τον αέρα ο οποίος εσρχοτανε από το σαγόνι και από χαμηλές ταχύτητες.
Excellent and high-quality helmet. Very good ventilation. It comes with a free anti-fog visor. I use it on a scooter with a fairing, mainly within the city but occasionally on the Attiki Odos highway. It is quiet compared to the rpha11 that I had before, which lasted me 7 years, but from speeds of 100+ there is a moderate noise at normal levels, which may be due to removing the ear slots for intercom. The only negative is its weight. Due to the new ECE 22.06 specifications for increased safety, the weight has increased. Also, the sun visor and the internal mechanism of the helmet slightly add to the weight. In size large, the weight is 1600g. Also, the visor requires a little getting used to when opening and closing. The mechanism has strong teeth, keeping the visor open at higher speeds, but it requires some practice to handle it. My brother has the Shoei GT Air 2 in medium, which weighs 1500g. So, the differences are small. It also has a slot for intercom. I had the Interphone F5MC, which does not fit the new helmet, so I bought the HJC Sena 21B, which is compatible.
Also, I should mention that when measuring my head, it is for a medium size. The Shoei GT Air 2 that I tried on fit perfectly, but the HJC RPHA71 is tight around the temples, so I went for a large size. So, keep in mind that you may need a larger size.

Αθόρυβο σε σχέση με το rpha11 που είχα πριν και με έβγαλε 7 χρόνια αλλά από τα 100+ ξεκινάει ένας μέτριος θόρυβος σε νορμάλ επίπεδα, σε αυτό μπορεί να φταίει ότι του έβγαλα τις υποδοχές στα αυτιά για την ενδοεπικοινωνία. Το μόνο αρνητικό είναι το βάρος του. Λόγω των καινούριων προδιαγραφών ece 22.06 για μεγαλύτερη ασφάλεια αυξήθηκε το βάρος. Επίσης λόγω των γυαλιών ηλίου και του μηχανισμού του εσωτερικά του κράνους αυξάνουν λίγο το βάρος. Σε large το βάρος είναι 1600γρ. Επίσης θέλει λίγο συνήθεια η ζελατίνα του στο άνοιξε κλείσε. Έχει σκληρά δόντια ο μηχανισμός, κρατάει την ζελατίνα ανοιχτή σε πιο ψηλές ταχύτητες, αλλά θέλει λίγο τρόπο η μεταχείριση της. Το shoei gt air 2 που έχει ο αδερφός μου σε medium είναι 1500γρ.
