Coming from the previous model go and play mini
It has hidden modes that are not mentioned anywhere in the instructions and it doesn't even have an app to easily enable/disable them from your phone.
Instead, you have to press two buttons at the same time to change treble and bass as you prefer.
I find it tragic from such a quality company (!!!!???)
Bluetooth and - at the same time = you change the 3 modes for the bass
+ and the icon on the right (phone) at the same time = you change the 3 modes for the treble
Also, for reset, you hold down + and Bluetooth for a few seconds.
Build quality is top notch. Nothing rattles no matter how much bass you add
Sound is clear as it should be, depending on the mode you choose.
Bass... For the €280 I am EXTREMELY satisfied.
It doesn't shake your insides like being in a club in front of the speaker, but it makes you want to move even if you didn't feel like moving before!
I would describe it as uplifting, and of course it makes you smile at every beat!!
When I manage to find the boombox 3 (which I was considering between these two), I will update.
As a disadvantage, I will mention the buttons, which, because they are touch and not pressure, have no lighting at night and you need light to press the minus or plus for volume adjustment or the other buttons, which makes it extremely difficult to use when there is not enough lighting!
Whereas with the previous one, for example, which I had a bit higher than my line of sight, I would raise my hand, feel the - and press it.
However, it is elegant, high quality, beautiful, and efficient.
I went back to harman kardon after 3 and a half years of flawless product (go and play mini) and I was not disappointed!
I believe it is top at this price!!!

update: May 19, 2025, its battery is perfectly fine. After about 5-6 hours of relaxed beats, I plug it in and it starts charging the third light out of 5. So it had another 40%+
Today, July 5, 2025, 7 hours at volume around 35-40% and now the second light is charging. Its battery is also very good!!

Έχει κρυμμένα modes όπου δεν αναφέρεται τίποτα στις οδηγίες και ούτε καν έχει εφαρμογή για να τα ενεργοποιείς/απενεργοποιείς εύκολα από το κινητό.
Ανταυτού κάθεσαι να ακουμπάς ταυτόχρονα 2 κουμπιά για να αλλάξεις πρίμα και μπάσα κατά προτίμηση.
Το θεωρώ τραγικό από μια τόσο ποιοτική εταιρία (!!!!???)
Bluetooth και - ταυτόχρονα = αλλάζεις τα 3 modes για τα μπάσα
+ και το εικονίδιο δεξιά (τηλέφωνο) ταυτόχρονα = αλλάζεις τα 3 modes για τα πρίμα
Επίσης για reset κρατάς το + και το Bluetooth πατημένα για κάποια δευτερόλεπτα.
Ποιότητα κατασκευής στα ύψη. Δεν τρίζει τίποτα όσα μπάσα και να του προσθέσεις
Ήχος καθαρός όπως πρέπει, αναλόγως τα mode που θα διαλέξεις.
Μπάσα....Για τα 280€ εγώ είμαι ΤΕΡΜΑ ευχαριστημένος.
Δεν ταρακουνάει το μέσα σου όπως πχ να είσαι σε κλαμπ μπροστά στο ηχείο, αλλά σε κάνει να θέλεις να κουνηθείς χωρίς να είχες πρίν όρεξη να κουνηθείς !
Ξεσηκώτικό θα το χαρακτήριζα που εννοείται σε κάνει να χαμογελάς σε κάθε bit !!
Όταν θα καταφέρω να βρω το boombox 3 (όπου και ήμουν μεταξύ αυτών των 2), θα κάνω update.
Στα μειονεκτήματα θα βάλω τα κουμπιά όπου επειδή δεν είναι πίεσης αλλά αφής, δεν έχουν το βράδυ κανένα φωτισμό και χρειάζεσαι φως για να πατήσεις το μείον ή το συν για την αυξομείωση του ήχου ή τα υπόλοιπα κουμπιά, το οποίο το κάνει τέρμα δύσχρηστο όταν δεν υπάρχει επαρκής φωτισμός !
Ενώ με το άλλο πριν πχ που το είχα λίγο πιο ψηλά από το οπτικό μου πεδίο, σήκωνα το χέρι μου, ένιωθα το - και το πατούσα.
Κομψό όμως, ποιοτικό, όμορφο, αποδοτικό.
Ξανά πήγα στην harman kardon μετά από 3μιση χρόνια αψεγάδιαστου προϊόντος της (go and play mini) και δεν βγήκα ζημιωμενος !
Πιστεύω είναι top σε αυτά τα χρήματα !!!
Φυσικά και το προτείνω
update: 19 Μαΐου 2025 η μπαταρία του είναι κομπλέ μια χαρά. Μετά από καμιά 5-6 ώρες χαλαρό μπιτάκι, το βάζω στη πρίζα και ξεκινάει να γεμίζει το τρίτο φωτάκι από τα 5. Δηλαδή είχε άλλα 40% +
Σήμερα 5 Ιουλίου 2025 7 ώρες με ένταση κάπου στο 35-40% και τώρα φορτίζει το 2ο φωτάκι. Πολλή καλή και η μπαταρία του !!
