Its construction incorporates a quarter-wave plate, making the polarized light circular so the camera’s autofocus and automatic exposure function correctly.
The T* anti-reflective coating reduces reflections on the filter surface and helps transmit light. The slim ring allows it to be used with wide-angle lenses, while the front thread remains available for additional filters.
