To perform a fluid quality test, turn on the device using the button on top. Then, remove the lower cover and place the tip of the tester (two pins) into the brake fluid reservoir.

Device indicator readings:

• Green LED: No water in the brake fluid.
• Yellow LED: Less than 1% water in the system.
• Two yellow diodes: 2% water in the system - within normal limits.
• Red diode: 3% water in the system - recommend replacing the fluid.
• Two red diodes: more than 4% water in the system - brake fluid needs to be changed.

If the green LED does not light up after pressing the button, replace the battery. Blinking red diodes indicate the battery needs replacement. Clean the measuring pins under running water after each use.
