Books like this are no longer being written. Romantic yet modern, with a childlike perspective full of imagination and creativity! The illustrations are gentle yet detailed, captivating young readers and inspiring discussions and crafts.

What can I say about this book. It is fantastic. With very nice allegorical messages. Wonderful illustrations and a lot of material for nice conversations and discussions. The kids have "devoured" it. I highly recommend it!!!

Whether I read it to my 4-year-old, my 8-year-old, my 12-year-old, or myself, we all always have the same smile on our lips. The little ones ask for it again and again. Wonderful book.

Description & Specifications

A matchbox and a cricket, on a warm summer afternoon, randomly become a children's game. Can one fit other things into such a small box? The heroine of this story closes the most improbable things into her own – those she likes very much and others she may not particularly like. However, when her matchbox is full and cannot be opened anymore, she doesn’t know what to do… A little story about all the things we hide inside ourselves and feel better when we express them.
