The Dophin UV filter is not a submersible type. The UV filter purifies water by reducing the number of free-floating algae, bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa. This product is designed for high performance and silent operation, supporting the maintenance of fish and plants.

The filter is mounted externally by connecting to a power head to cause the water to pass through the UV tube. It is best not to use it with strong water flow, as the ultraviolet light will not have time to act.

• The UV tube must be replaced after 2000 hours of life, as it will lose its function.
• If this unit falls into the water, turn off the main power supply and then retrieve it.
• Do not attempt to use this UV filter if it has been submerged.
• Turn off the UV filter if you are using any medication in your aquarium water.
