Another pair of Air Jordans in my collection (the third in a row).
Excellent shoe, extremely comfortable and mainly the design and colors make those around you ask where you got them from….
Even on the days I wear them for 8-10 hours straight, I don't feel a thing!!
Whoever is willing to spend the money to acquire them, I recommend them with closed eyes…
You won't regret it!!

Εξαιρετικό παπούτσι, τέρμα άνετο και κυρίως σχέδιο και χρώματα που κάνουν τους γύρω σου να σε ρωτάνε από πού το πήρες….
Ακόμη και τις ημέρες που τα φοράω για 8-10 ώρες σερί δεν καταλαβαίνω τίποτα!!

The Air Jordan 1 is undoubtedly the most important shoe in the history of footwear. It was not only the first shoe for Michael Jordan from Nike, but it was also the beginning of innovation for Nike itself. The Air Jordan 1 was designed as a basketball shoe for rookie Michael Jordan and it started the crazy and huge trend of retros that we live today, where new colors and collaborations seem to be released every week.
The Air Jordan 1 was designed by Peter Moore, who came up with the idea to "break the color barrier in footwear". You see, in the early 1980s, bright colors existed in canvas shoes or running shoes. When it came to basketball shoes, the color was almost always white.
While most of the components of the shoe were drawn from other Nike designs such as the Air Force 1, Nike Dunk, Air Ship, and Nike Vandal, the one thing that was completely exclusive to the Air Jordan 1 series was the logo that Moore sketched for Michael. The "Wings" logo as we know it today features a basketball with wings, the perfect representation for Michael "Air" Jordan and his new signature shoes. The Air Jordan 1 was the only Air Jordan model to include both the Nike Swoosh and the Jordan Wings logo. The now iconic Jumpman logo would make its first appearance in 1988 with the Air Jordan 3 model.
They were first released in 1985 in the color Bred (black+red=bred) and quickly became known as "Banned". You see, every time Jordan stepped onto the court wearing the black, red, and white shoes, he was fined $5,000 for violating the NBA's uniform policy, a fine that Nike was happy to pay each time in order to increase the hype around the Air Jordan 1.
"On October 15th, Nike created a revolutionary basketball shoe," says the narrator. "On October 18th, the NBA banned it. Fortunately, the NBA can't ban you from wearing them. Air Jordans. From Nike."
That was it. The shoes became a sensation despite their high price of $65, by the standards of the time. Since then, the history of Nike itself has changed, Jordan was named the NBA rookie of the year and went on to have a huge career that we all know, the Jordans became collectibles (some editions were released on Saturdays so that most people wouldn't work and kids wouldn't miss school) and changed the status of sneakers both on and off the court. The rest is history...
