The Every Stage R129 in Shale by Joie is a 4-in-1 seat that grows with your baby, from birth to 12 years. Starting as a covered infant seat and then growing and adapting into a booster seat with a belt, the Every Stage R129 ensures your little one is protected at all ages.

This car seat meets the highest safety standard ECE R129/03, including side impact testing, and meets the i-Size certification in the forward-facing belt booster mode.

It features a steel-reinforced frame that increases structural integrity, the Tri-Protect headrest has three layers of foam, including the patented Intelli-Fit memory foam for optimal side impact protection, and it has Guard Surround Safety cover, which provides additional side impact protection and can be activated individually for extra space in the vehicle. The car seat is well-labeled with installation paths and the dual lock-offs for installation with the vehicle's 3-point seat belt are all in green color.

The car seat uses shock-absorbing padding and a 5-point harness with soft and padded covers to keep your child comfortable and safe, protecting the strongest parts of their body, with 6 different reclining positions, 2 rear-facing and 4 forward-facing for comfort options at every age. The infant body and head support that grows with me create a customizable fit to ensure your child fits properly in the harness and headrest. The 5-point harness tightens easily with a simple pull motion.


The Grow Together multi-height headrest and harness system adjust simultaneously and do not require rethreading of the belt, and the AutoAdjust side wings widen as the headrest is raised to accommodate growing children.     One of the new models of the Joie company. This particular one was chosen because there are two cars, one with Isofix and the other an older model that is secured with a seatbelt. We constantly hear about Isofix and seats with a leg that touches the car floor for greater safety.
    Well, Greece still has a fleet of old cars. So many of our vehicles do not have Isofix. It's not bad to have a seat that is secured with a seatbelt, as long as you make a good purchase. I went to a chain of baby stores and got informed about this issue.
    It's hard to find a 2-in-1 seat nowadays. That is, one that can be secured in both ways. There are many seats for our case (secured with a seatbelt). All nice, from different companies, in various colors and prices for every budget.
    However, they are all very 'cheaply made'. Lightweight, with quite exposed plastics.
    This particular seat was the best choice. Its features are listed so I will simply say that it is
    Sturdy!!!!! + Stable!!!!!
