Description

WiFi Connection Anywhere

With 4G Cat. 4, the LT400 Outdoor communicates with download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of 50 Mbps. It features Wi-Fi AC1200, providing a reliable network to connect up to 30 devices.

Enhanced Wi-Fi Coverage with Beamforming

Tested Wi-Fi coverage performance in four scenarios, achieved with Beamforming technology and two built-in antennas.

External Placement

The device is protected by a standard IP65 enclosure, which shields it from rain and dust when mounted vertically. It also features 4 kV Lightning/Surge protection and 8 kV ESD protection for greater reliability in case of a storm. Its operating temperatures range from -40 °F to 149 °F (-40 °C to 65 °C).

Antenna Replacement

The default 4G antennas are just as sensitive as those of a regular phone. You can still replace them via the SMA connectors.

Incredible quality, and also the signal is amazing, and when you install it, you really understand the quality of programming it.

Very decent for its price. At least in my case, what I read in other reviews—that it doesn't work well in areas with poor signal—does not apply. I am about 7 and 12 kilometers from LTE antennas, and where I used to get about 2–5 Mbps download and less than 1 Mbps upload inside the house with my phone (i.e., almost unusable), with the LT500 at the window (not even on the roof, where it would get much better signal—I'll install it there in the future and update the review), I get 15–25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. Plus, with one SIM the whole house has internet.
Now, if you have an unlimited budget, there may be better options, e.g., something like the “MikroTik LHG LTE18 Kit,” but the LT500 is already satisfactory and for its price does the job and more. I highly recommend it.
(If you put it on the roof, you will need to buy a long Ethernet cable and a separate access point/router.)

    Update:
    More than enough
    45-50 Mbps Download
    40-45 Mbps Upload
But you need to place it correctly (even the slightest movement changes the speed)

    3.5 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
Great for the price, ideal for simple use within the city. It doesn't have Carrier Aggregation, so don't expect high speeds or stability in demanding applications. The external 5dBi antenna doesn't offer good reception in remote areas — it will only perform well if there's already a good signal. A good choice for browsing, email, and basic use, as long as you are aware of its limitations.

    Advantages:
Very good price for an external 4G router
Simple installation and easy to use
Reliable operation in areas with good signal
Ideal for simple daily use (browsing, email, etc.)

    Disadvantages:
Does not support Carrier Aggregation, so limited speeds
The external 5dBi antenna has low performance in distant or remote areas
Not suitable for demanding applications (e.g., remote work, video streaming)

    Conclusion:
Ideal solution for city use and light usage with good signal. Those who know what they are buying will be satisfied with their money's worth.

  • I just ordered the second one. In the settings, it doesn't need automatic, but VODANONE.GR, for it to work. The phone with LTE 4G antenna settings reached up to 4 mbbs, while this one reached up to 15 and upload 30. I think it's ultimately a good choice.

In my village, I encountered issues with limited mobile signal coverage, often experiencing no signal or only one bar inside my house. By installing Cudy outside my property, I significantly improved my internet access and made phone calls over Wi-Fi, greatly enhancing my connectivity. However, I could have improved even more if I had used external antennas.

It is quite stable in operation and appears to be of good quality in terms of construction.
Also, the software is surprisingly good, with endless options for whatever you need, and the customer service (via email) is prompt and informative.

The only thing that didn't fully satisfy me is the 4G speed issue, but I reserve judgment because I am in an area with many fluctuations. The same applies to measurements I make with our mobile devices.
I have played around with the settings, but I haven't exhausted all the options.
I just expected, due to it being an external fixed point, to have a more stable speed than our mobile devices, and in the end, it is about the same.

Also, its wifi (especially the 5ghz) is a bit weak, so if you have it outside, you will definitely need another Access Point. The good thing is that it has power over ethernet, and you can easily "bring in" the network with a cable.
