I've had it for 2 months.
My profile is that of a user who uses the phone for calls and video calls, a bit of news, a bit of GPS, email, Viber, and maybe on some semi-annual trip will take quite a few photos, save them to the micro SD, and watch them on the TV from time to time. I come from (don't laugh)!!! The Galaxy A5, which has served me for 7 consecutive years without problems, and with hundreds of drops to its credit, but on my last trip, after taking many shots, it would shut down with sufficient battery, so now I use it as a backup for heavy-duty tasks. Compared to that, going from a 5.2-inch screen to 6.5, it feels like a slipper. What the heck is going on with everyone making slipper-sized phones!!!!
The reason I chose it was the price, its big battery, Cosmote's approved 5G, Motorola's name which has been a leader in communications for many decades, its top specs for the price in RAM and ROM, the lack of complaints in user reviews about malfunctions, both for this and the standard model, and a certain mobile reviewer on YouTube who said he was impressed.
Ok, let's take a look at it.
Designed for rain resistance. Water repellent.
Takes a 1TB microSD.
Accepts classic headphones with a 3.5mm jack.
Little things that are becoming rare.
Head radiation at 0.86, a bit high, but tolerable.
IPS screen and not Super AMOLED as I was used to, but bright and sharp at 120 Hz. Even on auto-brightness, you can see contacts, messages, mail, Viber even in bright sunlight. For photos and videos, it's ok. In power saving mode, which I have set, everything comes out with a black background—contacts, mail, Viber, messages—except for Chrome sites, but believe me, it's much easier on the eyes than a white background, both in sunlight and cloudy weather.
Battery lasts 2 days, not with heavy use and with overcharge protection active, at 80% max, and once a week to 100% for long-term battery health, from 25 - 80% in 45 minutes. It also features AI charging for those who charge their phone every night at the same time, so it doesn't stay at 100% all night but at 90%, and an hour before you wake up it reaches 100%. Basically, I expected the 6000mAh to last longer. Still, with heavy use, it will last a day and a bit more. No charger in the box, only a transparent case, type C to type C cable, so you'll need to get a 30-33W fast charger, type C.
Connectivity, 5G, call quality, sound quality, photos, videos, Dolby Atmos—all excellent.
5G network speed isn't dramatically different from 4G, seemingly, because in a Google speed test, 4G hit 50 Mbps and 5G 250. On a trip from Athens to Kavala to Xanthi, suburbs, with 5G on, stays, etc., it never switched back to 4G.
Landscape photos are generally clear with nice, soft colors. Macro photos are very good. Faces are clear, but if you zoom in, sometimes they look a bit powdered. Honestly, the A5 had more detail here. Advantageous for older women and middle-aged folks like me, as wrinkles don't show. The selfie comes out clear and detailed, I'd say. Video up to 60 fps is fine during the day; I haven't shot at night. Night photos pleasantly surprised me. Overall, the camera, which also has optical image stabilization (OIS), is ok for the category and for non-demanding users, and the AI also intervenes and corrects small mistakes. Tip, and as I read in the camera review on gsmarena, keep the standard resolution on the rear camera if you are not really into detail when zooming in. It will save you storage space on the micro sd. For selfies, set it to high.
The menu is very easy, reminiscent of Samsung, it has also received Android 15, and probably that's it.
You can easily delete any pre-installed apps you don't need, and most importantly... a menu WITHOUT ADS!!! to get on your nerves. Are you listening, Xiaomi??
You can also set a photo and a different ringtone for contacts. And you can add as a widget on another screen, contact icons with photos, for instant calling.
The little phone also has some tricks after settings, which are very handy.
You take a screenshot by double-tapping your index finger on the back of the phone as you hold it.
Flashlight, camera, turn on with gestures without unlocking anything. You end the call from the side button, which is an advantage if you use a wallet case.
At night, when you wake up and want to see the time, you don't need to search for buttons, the time appears bright and large with a tap.
During a call, your thumb falls in the right place to answer, and on the loud and high-quality, I would say, speaker for hands-free. Now, definitely put a screen protector because it only has regular glass on the screen. And a case, preferably a wallet type (it is indeed a bit old-fashioned) as it is preferred by ladies and gentlemen of a certain age, and it adds bulk to the phone, but you will have peace of mind if it falls face down, and it will keep it like new for as long as it lasts. Now, many friends who couldn't mirror to TV, nor could I from the main screen where you pull down and it has various things like location, wallet, wifi, mirroring, etc., I found it inside the camera in photo viewing, there is a mirroring icon above and next to it you can select from folders. However, during video playback, the sound does not sync with the picture. Also, with a setting, you can change the wrong position of the buttons right and left at the bottom of the screen.
Finally, this GEMIN(AI), this genderless construct that has flooded all the "modern" phones and knows everything about everything, will solve all your questions from the Joker lottery to the weather to even things I don't know.

Issues.
In overcharge protection at 80%, while it says that once a week it will automatically reach 100% for better performance, it doesn't do it and you have to do it yourself.
Sometimes you try to open apps and it doesn't work, they open and close. It is fixed with the left button below, close all.
Split screen sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.
Screen mirroring, while it didn't work at all from the assistive screen, suddenly worked.
Anyway, there is no smart device without some issues. For the price, features, and its years, it is more than OK.

Having this phone for 5 months now, I want to say that I am quite satisfied with almost everything it has. It has a good processor that can play any game at 60 - 120+ FPS. It has a fast 120Hz screen, though it is IPS and not OLED, which I would recommend a bit more, but still, it's not bad especially for this price. Its camera is 50MP, but it's much better than I thought. Its battery is perfect, lasting about 13 hours without charging. Its GPU for some reason doesn't work and uses the iGPU of its processor; initially, the screen was glitching in almost all games, but then it received a software update and now it plays everything perfectly. The 12GB of RAM allows it to open any application and run it at 120+ FPS. The 256GB of storage lets you use it for years without any issues. The only bad thing about this phone is that it has only 1 year of software updates, which means you will only get Android 14 and that's it, along with 3 years of security updates. In conclusion, I can say that it is a good phone with many features, but I think it's a better idea to get a Xiaomi since they have OLED screens. However, if you want to get something cheaper but good, then this phone will definitely please you.

I have had the phone for about 7 months since April 2024. This is my first time with Motorola, and I am very satisfied with my choice as it meets almost all my needs.

Starting with the design, I think it is quite beautiful externally as it is a well-proportioned rectangle without any significant protrusions and with round corners that provide a nice grip in the hand. Unfortunately, as with all smartphones, when you put any case on it, its beauty is lost, so I don't focus too much on the design. The right thumb falls exactly on the fingerprint reader, which works flawlessly and does not give us failed attempts like the readers that are integrated into the screen (far from it). Its display has good rendering with vibrant colors and can operate at 120Hz, consuming more battery in the process. Under bright sunlight, the high brightness helps quite a bit to do the basics. The sound is excellent, offering a surround illusion, but it could be louder, especially during calls on speakerphone, as I personally find it difficult to speak comfortably.

The big applause for me goes to the connectivity options, as it works flawlessly and better than any other smart device I have used since 2012. I have had Wi-Fi, 5G, GPS, and Bluetooth active permanently since day one, and the connections switch between each other completely smoothly. I have a connected Huawei GT4 smartwatch that never misses a notification or call, I switch calls between the smartwatch and the phone effortlessly, and at the same time, I connect my Xiaomi Redmi Buds 5, which activate in less than 1 second from the moment I put them in my ear and take control of the call. As soon as I get into the car, the call switches directly to the car's Bluetooth, and I can have maps and GPS navigation running, with 5G keeping me always connected, and after the call, it switches back to Spotify, allowing me to skip tracks from the watch. As soon as I get home, it connects directly to Wi-Fi, and when I change rooms, it connects to the second access point without me noticing that I switched networks. Along with all the above, I have an active Vodafone e-Sim and a second corporate SIM card while also having a 256GB memory card for extra storage. The hotspot (which needed a setting to work) has given me countless hours of remote work with fast 5G in Athens and the countryside, while the NFC offers me instant payments via Google Wallet to the point that most of the time I don't carry a wallet. It also has a headphone jack to listen to FM radio (rare now in devices), but personally, I miss the IR feature to change channels or turn on the air conditioning like the Xiaomi had.

Regarding the software, I don't think anyone can find a device with purer Android 14. Zero bloatware and no useless apps, to the point that even for basic things, you need to download extra apps to get the job done. Personally, for photo management, I have downloaded Aves 1.11, which is top-notch (far from Google Photos), I definitely need Nova Launcher, especially the Prime version, so that the app menu is nicely organized into folders, and I also needed to download an AppLock to lock specific apps with a fingerprint, a feature that phones like Xiaomi have built-in.

It doesn't miss notifications from any app, and everything works as it should in the foreground and background depending on the settings you've made for battery optimization in each app. As for the battery, for my usage, which includes everything open, using 5G for at least 10 hours a day, several hours of calls, and full Bluetooth connections, and in the evening browsing social media and browsing, it easily lasts 1 day, and if I don't charge it at night, I'll still have 20%-30% in the morning to get my work done. Nevertheless, for 6000mAh, I think it should last longer, and compared to the previous Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 I had for 4 years, which is still a "beast," it falls short. The charging is relatively fast, always depending on the output of the charger you use and, of course, when it's not on optimized charging. However, it's not super-fast like some phones that you can charge for 15 minutes and go from 20% to 50%.

Finally, the downside for me is the camera. Obviously, with €180 and providing all the above features, if I expected it to have an amazing camera, I would be foolish. However, at times the results of the photos are truly disappointing, perhaps even more disappointing than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 I mentioned earlier. If the scene has ideal lighting and stationary objects, then the result is good (not like, for example, Samsung, but OK). However, if the lighting is not ideal or the object moves even slightly, then the photo will turn out terrible, the object will be blurry, and the file goes straight to the recycle bin. I have lost countless photos of my 4-year-old son (who obviously doesn't stay still anywhere) because of the Motorola camera. Of course, at birthdays, celebrations, and other gatherings, I always tell others to take backup photos because mine will turn out completely useless.

Overall, if I needed to get a new phone, I would go for Motorola again (even though I see that the new models have a fingerprint reader on the screen, which I hate), maybe with a slightly better camera (if there is one). Incredible connectivity, pure Android operating system without bloatware, and at a good price. Zero lags or delays, no unexplained restarts, freezes, or overheating; it has never disappointed me whenever I really needed it.

Owner of the Motorola g54 power edition for 4 days. While I had ordered the honor magic lite 6 last Sunday, I eventually canceled the order because the courier still hadn't shipped the phone while it was Saturday, a week and still nothing. I was disappointed.

Now regarding the g54 Moto power edition:
Positives: 120hz screen
Clear and loud speaker for music
Clear calls without interruptions
Headphone jack
Silicone case
12gb/256gb perfect for its category
Negatives: Battery for 6000 milliamp hours does not perform well
The rear camera is good during the day,
terrible at night
The selfie camera is decent
Charging cable without a charger is
a sky without stars (I don't understand
this policy of companies.)

Conclusion: Motorola phones are generally good and don't lag easily, but most of their models have cheap camera resolution and their batteries aren't that great. If Huawei phones didn't have issues with Google services, even though with the new emui 14 and harmony os operating system almost everything has improved, I would never buy another phone from another company, maybe only iPhone.

If you want a good Motorola in my opinion, go for the Edge category, they are worth the money.

TLDR version: The phone is good, its build is defective and something broke on the motherboard from a small drop, and now I have a treasure hunt ahead of me to find someone to fix it.

I've had it for almost two years. At first, the phone was functionally fantastic, good photos, battery, sound, etc.
The battery started to gradually deteriorate, from two days, now it lasts half a day.
In August 2025, it downloaded an update to the main software and the phone just got worse. It became slower and the apps started crashing now and then. Also, the look of the UI and the keyboard changed radically... not for the better.

Finally, the phone is not durable. I have a silicone case for protection from drops but nevertheless it suffered serious damage from two very small drops.
On the first one, the Fingerprint stopped working, the phone doesn't even recognize the component anymore.
On the second one, something detached from the motherboard and rattles, as a result it doesn't take photos from the rear camera and shuts down with the slightest bump.
Also, the camera panel has come off, it seems it wasn't glued properly from the start, and that's probably why the second drop caused so much damage.
The worst thing is that it's almost impossible to find someone to fix it, one sends you to another even if they're authorized service centers, and Motorola's website is useless.
If you try to find support in Greece, it sends you to another page for the rest of Europe even though there's a category for Greece. When I try to submit a repair request it sends me to go to Glasgow in Scotland.
Even their phone number doesn't seem to be active.
