It's a pity because otherwise it seemed like a good and smart construction.

Η θήκη ποτέ δεν έπεσε ή χτυπήθηκε.
Κρίμα γιατί κατά τα άλλα φαινόταν καλή και έξυπνη κατασκευή.

- The mechanical closure fortunately holds, but unfortunately, it doesn't save only where you would want it to
The major con:
The case consists of two separate parts, which do NOT connect in any way. The bottom part securely attaches to the main piece of the AirPods case, but the top part is held in place only by a sticky tape, which loses its stickiness after 5-6 days.
Result: the top part often comes off, and where I used to only worry about the original AirPods case, now I also have to deal with this little black thing. (I got it supposedly to keep the AirPods safe from accidental opening while they hang outside my bag for quicker access)
This issue CANNOT be solved with instant glue (I tried it, as you can see in the photos), so I am considering getting a good, very thin nano-tape, preferably from 3M, and applying as much as I can, just in case...
Also, keep in mind that this case makes the whole package QUITE bulkier; it is not a slim construction. It does provide the corresponding protection, but don't think that the difference in bulk will be negligible.
Additionally, the strap you will see in the photos is my custom one. The strap that comes with the case is quite long and isn't very convenient; the case hangs too low and sways a lot when hanging freely
