Cultivation
Recommended method: trays. For cardamom seeds, the usual process of soaking overnight in water is not necessary: the seeds should be slightly moistened and placed in the trays. Cardamom is a mucilaginous seed, so special attention should be given to the growth of the sprouts, especially in the first days of germination. The small cardamom seeds, when placed in water, immediately develop a completely water-repellent gelatinous membrane. Keep the seeds away from light until the first leaves appear. Spray the seeds 1-2 times a day with only the amount of water needed to keep them moist. The sprouts are ready in 4-5 days. They can be stored in the refrigerator for 1 week.
