After these books, an authentic musical recording of an invaluable cultural heritage is attempted: the Smyrnean song. They contain songs from Smyrna, the Anatolian coasts, Constantinople, as well as the refugee neighborhoods of Athens and Piraeus.

The eight volumes that will complete the series include 400 songs left to us by anonymous and named composers of the last two centuries, songs that could be characterized as traditional, popular, rebetiko, estudentinadas, cantades, manedes, light, etc.
