Coming from the T3 (500GB), I saw a huge difference in speed (obviously!). Entire movies (ahem!) and large files are transferred to and from the SSD literally in seconds. VERY positive that the package includes TWO cables: one for USB-C connection and one for USB-A connection. So, when I connect it to my laptop I use USB-C (where it achieves maximum speeds) and to my desktop I use USB-A where it is also much faster than the old one, just not at maximum speed (USB-C is necessary to reach maximum). Very good rug for protection against drops (though it's best if that doesn't happen) and very small (just like the old one anyway). You can't really call it VFM (value for money) even though I got it for €210 (this is the 2TB version), since with slightly lower specs you can find the previous T7 for about two-thirds the price (around €130 to €150), but for Samsung's quality and speeds it's a VERY good price! I recommend it with my eyes closed!
